Qualiziertes Einbaupersonal

Das Gerät darf nur von qualiziertem Fachpersonal in das Fahrzeug eingebaut und gewartet

werden.

Folgen fehlerhafter Installation

Bei fehlerhafter Installation können Schäden am Fahrzeug entstehen. Fehlerhafte Montagen

oder Wartungen können gefährliche Folgen haben und führen zum Verlust der Gewährleistung

und ggf. der Betriebserlaubnis Ihres Fahrzeuges.

Airbag

Bedenken Sie bei Fahrzeugen, die mit einem Airbag ausgestattet sind, dass der Airbag mit

großer Wucht gefüllt wird. Bringen Sie keine Komponenten in dem vom gefüllten Airbag be-

anspruchten Bereich an.

Antennen

Vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes müssen alle Antennen (2x LTE, 1x WiFi, 1x GPS) angeschlossen

sein. Das Gerät darf nicht ohne Antenne/n betrieben werden, da dies zur Zerstörung des Gerätes

führen kann.

Anschluss an die Stromversorgung des Fahrzeugs

Bei modernen Fahrzeugen müssen, nach dem Anklemmen der Fahrzeugbatterie, unter Umstän-

den Einstellungen vorgenommen werden. Ziehen Sie hierzu unbedingt die Bedienungsanlei-

tung Ihres Fahrzeuges zur Hilfe heran.

Umwelteinüsse: Wasser und Staub

Das PTCarPhone und alle Zubehörteile sind weder staubdicht noch wasserfest. Stellen Sie

sicher, dass das PTCarPhone dauerhaft vor Feuchtigkeit und vor ins Fahrzeug eindringendes

Wasser geschützt ist und beugen Sie durch regelmäßige Reinigung dem Eindringen von Staub-

partikeln in die Gehäuse vor.

Montage DEUTSCH

Reihenfolge der Montage

1. Machen Sie sich mit den Anschlüssen vertraut.

Klemmen Sie den Minuspol der Fahrzeugbatte-

rie ab und beachten Sie dabei die Sicherheits-

hinweise des Kfz-Herstellers.

2. Wählen Sie die Montageplätze für die Elektro-

nikbox, den Handapparat, den Lautsprecher, das

Freisprechmikrofon und die Antenne/n unter

Beachtung der Kabellängen und Montagehin-

weise aus und montieren Sie die Komponenten.

Achten Sie beim Bohren von Löchern darauf,

dass keine Fahrzeugteile beschädigt werden.

Verwenden Sie an scharfkantigen Löchern

Kabeldurchführungen.

3. Installieren Sie das mitgelieferte Freisprechmi-

krofon. Stellen Sie dabei sicher, dass Luftströme

aus der Lüftung nicht in Richtung Mikrofon

zeigen. Siehe auch „Montageorte für das Mikro-

fon“ unten. Anschließend installieren Sie den

Lautsprecher (eine sehr gute Position ist der

Beifahrerfußraum). Achten Sie bei der Montage

von Mikrofon und Lautsprecher auf eine aus-

reichend große räumliche Trennung, um eine

akustische Rückkopplung zu vermeiden.

4. Schließen Sie das Stromversorgungskabel (rot)

an Dauerplus und den Zündungseingang (gelb/

schwarz) an die Zündung *, wenn vorhanden,

an. Schließen Sie den Zündungseingang (gelb/

schwarz) nicht auf Dauerplus, da dies den Funk-

tionsumfang des Gerätes einschränkt.

Der Anschluss des Massekabels erfolgt direkt an

der Fahrzeugbatterie, dem zentralen Masse-

punkt (Masseblock) oder einem Teil der Fahr-

zeugkarosserie.

* Für Fahrzeuge ohne Zündungsleitung wird

empfohlen, im Anschluss an die Installation,

die Funktion „Virtuelle Zündung“ im Telefon zu

aktivieren.

5. Verbinden Sie das violette Kabel mit dem Mute-

Eingang des Autoradios. Dies gewährleistet die

automatische Radiostummschaltung bei ein-

und ausgehenden Anrufen.

6. Isolieren Sie nichtbenutzte Kabel so, dass keine

Kurzschlüsse entstehen können.

7. Verbinden Sie die einzelnen Komponenten des

Gerätes über die Steck- und Schraubverbindun-

gen miteinander (siehe Anschlussplan).

8. Prüfen Sie die Gesamtmontage und legen Sie

eine gültige SIM-Karte ein. Klemmen Sie die

Fahrzeugbatterie an.

9. Für Fahrzeuge mit Zündungsleitung: Schalten

Sie die Zündung ein. Das Gerät schaltet sich nun

ein und fordert die Eingabe der PIN (falls diese

auf der SIM-Karte nicht deaktiviert wurde).

Für Fahrzeuge ohne Zündungsleitung: Schalten

Sie das Gerät mit der Endetaste

/ am

Handapparat ein.

10. Geben Sie die PIN ein. Das Telefon registriert

sich nun im Netz.

11. Bauen Sie einen Anruf auf um die Grundfunktio-

nen des Gerätes zu überprüfen.

12. Prüfen Sie, ob neue Software zur Verfügung

steht und führen Sie gegebenenfalls einen

Software-Update durch. Herunterladen von

Software-Updates kann, abhängig vom Mobil-

funkvertrag, Kosten verursachen.

13. Nehmen Sie bei Bedarf persönliche Einstel-

lungen (siehe Kapitel „Einrichten des PTCar-

Phones“) am Gerät vor und schließen Sie die

Installation ab.

SIM-Karte einsetzen

Zum Betrieb des Gerätes ist eine gültige und

aktivierte SIM-Karte erforderlich. Diese erhalten

Sie bei Ihrem Mobilfunkanbieter. Sie speichert alle

wichtigen Daten Ihres Anschlusses.

Drücken Sie zum Öffnen des SIM-Kartenhalters

die runde Taste mit einem spitzen Gegenstand

in das Gehäuse. Legen Sie die SIM-Karte in den

Halter ein und schieben Sie diesen zurück in die

Elektronikbox.

HINWEISE:

Setzen Sie die SIM-Karte nur ein, wenn das

Gerät und die Zündung des Fahrzeugs aus-

geschaltet sind.

Achten Sie beim Einsetzen des SIM-Karten-

halters auf die lagerichtige Einführung. Beim

Schließen ist kein größerer Kraftaufwand

notwendig.

Sollten beim Ausbrechen der SIM-Karte

Kunststoffreste am Rand der SIM-Karte ver-

blieben sein, ist es notwendig, diese vor dem

Einsetzen der SIM-Karte zu entfernen.

PIN eingeben

Ist die Eingabe der PIN erforderlich, so werden Sie

beim Starten des Gerätes mit einer entsprechen-

den Meldung aufgefordert diese einzugeben.

Geben Sie die PIN über die Eingabetasten

ein

und bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe mit der Funk-

tionstaste OK. Eine Korrektur können Sie mit der

Funktionstaste Löschen vornehmen.

Damit Ihre PIN nicht eingesehen werden kann,

werden Eingaben mit einem Stern angezeigt.

Die darauf folgende Anmeldung im Netz kann

einige Sekunden dauern. Nach dreimaliger Falsch-

eingabe der PIN wird die SIM-Karte gesperrt.

Zum Entsperren werden Sie zur Eingabe der PUK

aufgefordert.

Nachlaufzeit einstellen

Nach Ausschalten der Zündung läuft das Gerät

gemäß der eingestellten Nachlaufzeit nach und

schaltet sich dann aus.

Zum Einstellen der Nachlaufzeit folgen Sie folgen-

dem Menüpfad:

TIPPS:

Wenn das PTCarPhone unter derselben Tele-

fonnummer betrieben werden soll, wie das

Mobiltelefon des Anwenders, empehlt es

sich, eine sogenannte Multi-SIM-Karte zu ver-

wenden. Wenden Sie sich hierfür bitte an den

Mobilfunkanbieter.

Es wird empfohlen vor der Montage abzu-

klären, ob die Elektronikbox so positioniert

werden sollte, dass ein einfacher Zugang

zur SIM-Karte besteht oder ob die Position

der Elektronikbox den Zugang zur SIM-Karte

erschwerden soll.

Schrauben, Klebeband und Halterungen

Je nach Einbausituation könnte es erforderlich

werden, die Elektronikbox, den Handapparat und

das Zubehör mit unterschiedlichen Materialien zu

befestigen.

Bitte vergessen Sie nicht: Sicherheit geht vor!

Trotzdem empehlt es sich, ästhetische Gesichts

punkte nicht außer Acht zu lassen.

Qualied installation personnel

The device must only be installed in the vehicle and serviced by qualied specialists.

Consequences of incorrect installation

Incorrect installation can cause damage to the vehicle. Incorrect assembly or service can have

hazardous consequences and can void the warranty and possibly the operating permit of your

vehicle.

Airbag

With vehicles that are equipped with an airbag, remember that the airbag lls with a strong

force. Do not install any components in the area impacted by the lled airbag.

Antennas

Before start-up of the device, all antennas (2x LTE, 1x WiFi, 1x GPS) must be connected. The

device must not be operated without antenna(s), since this can lead to the destruction of the

device.

Connection to the power supply of the vehicle

In some cases settings must be done in modern vehicles after attaching the battery. Absolutely

be sure to refer to the operating manual of your vehicle for this.

Environmental inuences: Water and dust

The PTCarPhone and all accessories are neither dustproof nor waterproof. Make sure that the

PTCarPhone is always protected from moisture and from water penetrating the vehicle. Prevent

penetration of dust particles in the housing by cleaning regularly.

Assembly Sequence

1. Become familiar with the connections. Dis-

connect the negative terminal of the vehicle

battery while following the safety instructions

of the vehicle manufacturer.

2. Select the installation locations for the

electronics box, handset, loudspeaker, hands-

free microphone and the antenna(s), paying

attention to the cable lengths and installation

instructions and mount the components.

When drilling holes make sure that the

vehicle is not damaged. Use cable bushings on

sharp-edged holes.

3. Install the included hands-free microphone.

Make sure that air  ow from the vents is not

in the direction of the microphone. Also refer

to “Mounting locations for the microphone”

below.

Then install the loudspeaker (a good location

is the passenger footwell). During installation

of the microphone and loudspeaker make sure

of suf ciently large spatial separation, to avoid

acoustic feedback.

4. Connect the power supply cable (red) on the

permanent positive and the ignition input (yel-

low/black) to the ignition *, if present. Do not

connect the ignition input (yellow/black) onto

permanent positive, since this limits the scope

of function of the device.

Connection of the ground cable is done directly

to the vehicle battery, the central ground point

(ground block) or a part of the vehicle body.

* For vehicles without ignition wiring it is

recommended at the end of the installation to

activate the “Virtual ignition” function.

5. Connect the violet cable with the mute input of

the car radio. This ensures automatic radio mute

switching for incoming and outgoing calls.

6. Insulate unused cables so no short circuits can

occur.

7. Connect the individual components of the

device with each other using the plug and screw

connections (see connection diagram).

8. Check the total installation and insert a valid

SIM card. Connect the vehicle battery.

9. For vehicles with ignition wiring: Turn on the

ignition. The device now turns on and requests

the input of the PIN (if this was not deactivated

on the SIM card).

For vehicles without ignition wiring: Turn the

device on with the end key

/ on the

handset.

10. Enter the PIN. The telephone is now registered

in the network.

11. Make a call in order to check the basic functions.

12. Check whether there is new software available

and if necessary perform a software update.

Downloading of software updates can incur

costs, depending on the mobile phone contract.

13. If desired, make personal settings on the device

(see chapter “Setting up the PTCarPhone” on the

back) and  nish the installation.

Inserting the SIM card

A valid and activated SIM card is required to ope-

rate the device. This is available from your mobile

phone provider. It saves all the important data of

your connection.

To open the SIM card holder, push the round

button in the housing with a pointed object. Place

the SIM card in the holder and push it back in the

electronics box.

NOTE:

Insert the SIM card only if the device and the

vehicle ignition are turned off.

Make sure to insert the SIM card holder in

the correct position. Closing does not require

strong force.

If a piece of plastic remains on the edge of

the SIM card when taking it out, it is neces-

sary to remove this before inserting the SIM

card.

Inputting PIN

If a PIN is required it will be requested with an

appropriate message when starting the device.

Enter the PIN using the input keys

and

conrm with the OK function key. Corrections can

be made with the Delete function key.

PIN input is shown with asterisks so that it cannot

be seen. The subsequent

registration in the network can take a few

seconds.

After entering an incorrect PIN three times the

SIM card is blocked. The PUK is requested for

unblocking.

Setting the delay time

After turning off the ignition the device runs for

the set delay time and then turns off.

Use the following menu path to set the delay

time:

Software updates for the handset and PTCar-

Phone are done via the Internet access of the

mobile network. Therefore, Internet access must

be set up beforehand.

El aparato solamente debe ser instalado en el vehículo y mantenido por personal técnico cuali-

cado.

Consecuencias de una instalación incorrecta

En caso de una instalación incorrecta pueden producirse daños en el vehículo. Los montajes o

mantenimientos incorrectos pueden tener consecuencias peligrosas y conducen a la pérdida de

la garantía y eventualmente del permiso de circulación de su vehículo.

Airbag

En los vehículos equipados con airbag hay que tener en cuenta que el airbag se llena con gran

fuerza. No coloque ningún componente en la zona que ocupará el airbag expandido.

Antenas

Antes de la instalación del aparato, todas las antenas (2x LTE, 1x WiFi, 1x GPS) tienen que estar

conectadas. No se podrá utilizar el aparato sin la/s antena/s, ya que podría provocar la destruc-

ción del mismo.

Conexión a la alimentación de corriente eléctrica del vehículo

Después de conectar la batería del coche, en los vehículos modernos puede ser necesario

realizar determinadas conguraciones. Consulte para ello sin falta las instrucciones de servicio

de su vehículo.

Inuencias del entorno: Agua y polvo

Ni el PTCarPhone ni todos sus accesorios son estancos al polvo ni resistentes al agua. Asegúrese

que el PTCarPhone esté protegido de forma duradera de la humedad y de agua que penetre en

el vehículo, y prevenga mediante una limpieza periódica la penetración de partículas de polvo

en la carcasa.

Secuencia del montaje

1. Familiarícese con las conexiones. Desconecte

el polo negativo de la batería del vehículo,

observando las instrucciones de seguridad del

fabricante del mismo.

2. Seleccione los puestos de montaje de la caja

electrónica, el aparato manual, el altavoz, el

micrófono manos libres y la/s antena/s, tenien-

do en cuenta las longitudes de los cables y las

instrucciones de montaje. Instale los compo-

nentes.

Al taladrar los ori cios, preste atención para no

dañar ninguna pieza del vehículo. En caso de

ori cios con cantos vivos, utilice pasacables.

3. Instale el micrófono manos libres suministra-

do. Asegúrese que las corrientes de aire de la

ventilación no se dirijan hacia el micrófono.

Véase también «Ubicaciones de montaje para el

micrófono» más abajo. A continuación, instale

el altavoz (una posición muy buena es la zona

de los pies del copiloto). A la hora de montar el

micrófono y el altavoz procure que exista una

separación lo su cientemente grande para

evitar un acoplamiento acústico.

4. Conecte el cable de alimentación de la corriente

eléctrica (rojo) al polo positivo continuo y a la

entrada del encendido (amarillo/negro) al en-

cendido*, si hubiera. No conecte la entrada del

encendido (amarillo/negro) en el polo positivo

continuo ya que limitaría el volumen de funcio-

nes del aparato.

La conexión del cable de masa se realiza direc-

tamente a la batería del vehículo, al punto de

masa central (bloque de masa) o a una parte de

la carrocería del vehículo.

* Para los vehículos sin conducto del encendido

se recomienda activar en el teléfono, después

de la instalación, la función de «Encendido

virtual».

5. Conecte el cable violeta con la entrada de Mute

de la radio del coche. Con ello, garantiza la silen-

ciación automática de la radio con las llamadas

entrantes y salientes.

6. Aísle los cables que no utiliza de modo que no se

puedan producir cortocircuitos.

7. Conecte los distintos componentes del aparato

mediante las conexiones enchufables y rosca-

das (véase el esquema de conexiones).

8. Compruebe el montaje completo e inserte

una tarjeta SIM válida. Conecte la batería del

vehículo.

9. Para vehículos con conducto del encendido:

Conecte el encendido. El aparato se conectará

ahora y solicita la introducción del PIN (si no se

hubiera desactivado en la tarjeta SIM).

Para vehículos sin conducto del encendido:

Encienda el aparato con la tecla Fin

en el aparato manual.

10. Introduzca el código PIN. Ahora, el teléfono se

registrará en la red.

11. Haga una llamada para comprobar las funcio-

nes básicas del aparato.

12. Compruebe si hay disponible un nuevo

software y, si fuera necesario, actualice el

software. La descarga de actualizaciones del

software puede ocasionar costes, dependien-

do del contrato de telefonía móvil.

13. Si fuera necesario, realice las con guraciones

particulares (véase el capítulo «Con gurar

el PTCarPhone») en el aparato y  nalice la

instalación.

Introducir la tarjeta SIM

Para el funcionamiento del aparato se necesita

una tarjeta SIM válida y activada. La podrá obte-

ner de su proveedor de telefonía móvil. La tarjeta

almacenará todos los datos importantes de su

conexión.

Para abrir el soporte de la tarjeta SIM, presione

con un objeto alado la tecla redonda hacia den-

tro de la carcasa. Inserte la tarjeta SIM en el sopor-

te y vuelva a empujarlo en la caja electrónica.

AVISOS:

Inserte la tarjeta SIM solamente cuando el

aparato y el encendido del vehículo estén

apagados.

Al introducir el soporte de la tarjeta SIM,

compruebe la introducción en la posición

correcta. Para cerrar no se precisa realizar

ningún esfuerzo.

Si al separar la tarjeta SIM se hubiesen queda-

do restos de plástico en el canto de la misma,

es necesario retirarlos antes de insertarla.

Introducir el código PIN

Si fuera necesario introducir un código PIN,

al poner en marcha el aparato aparecerá

el mensaje correspondiente solicitando su

introducción.

Introduzca el código PIN con las teclas del

teclado

y conrme su introducción con

la tecla de función OK. Podrá efectuar una

corrección con la tecla de función Borrar.

Para que no se pueda ver su código PIN, los datos

introducidos aparecerán en forma de asterisco.

El siguiente registro en la red podrá durar algunos

segundos. Después de introducir tres veces incor

rectamente el código PIN, la tarjeta SIM quedará

bloqueada. Para desbloquearla, se le solicitará

introducir el PUK.

Congurar el tiempo de funcio-

namiento posterior

Después de apagar el encendido, el aparato

seguirá funcionando durante el tiempo de fun-

cionamiento posterior congurado y después se

apagará.

Para congurar el tiempo de funcionamiento

posterior, siga la siguiente ruta del menú:

Actualización del software

Las actualizaciones del software del aparato

manual y del PTCarPhone se realizarán a través

del acceso a Internet de la red de telefonía móvil.

Por eso es necesario establecer antes el acceso a

Internet.

programación.

Consejo: Salida Open-Drain (masa conmu-

tada) con VDR / Entrada con 15 kOhmios de

resistencia Pull-up a la tensión de servicio del

aparato

Solamente se permiten cargas resistivas e

inductivas (¡no cargas capacitivas!).

Tarjeta SIM

Tarjeta SIM mini con contrato de telefonía móvil

para el uso de las actualizaciones de software

CONSEJOS:

Si se pretende utilizar el PTCarPhone con

el mismo número de teléfono que él del

teléfono móvil del usuario, es recomendable

utilizar una tarjeta Multi-SIM. Diríjase para

ello a su proveedor de telefonía móvil.

Se recomienda aclarar antes del montaje si se

desea posicionar la caja electrónica de modo

que permita un acceso fácil a la tarjeta SIM

o si la posición de la caja electrónica debe

complicar el acceso a la tarjeta SIM.

Tornillos, cinta adhesiva y soportes

En función de la situación de instalación podría

ser necesario jar la caja electrónica, el aparato

manual y los accesorios con materiales diferentes.

Por favor, no lo olvide: ¡La seguridad ante todo!

Aunque también es recomendable no descuidar

los aspectos estéticos.

Conséquences d‘une installation incorrecte

En cas d‘installation incorrecte, le véhicule risque d‘être endommagé. Les montages incorrects

ou de maintenance inappropriée peuvent avoir des conséquences dangereuses et provoquer

une perte de garantie et le cas échéant de l‘autorisation d‘exploitation de votre véhicule.

Airbag

Dans les véhicules équipés d‘un système d‘airbag, n‘oubliez pas qu‘un airbag se gone brutale-

ment. N‘installez pas de composants dans la zone couverte par les airbags gonés.

Antennes

Avant la mise en service de l‘appareil, toutes les antennes (2x LTE, 1x WiFi, 1x GPS) doivent être

raccordées. L‘appareil ne doit pas être utilisé sans antenne(s) car cela pourrait entraîner la

destruction de l‘appareil.

Raccordement à l‘alimentation électrique du véhicule

Sur les véhicules modernes, une fois la batterie du véhicule branchée, des réglages peuvent

être nécessaires dans certains cas. Consultez impérativement le manuel d‘utilisation de votre

véhicule à ce sujet.

Conditions environnementales : eau et poussière

Le PTCarPhone et tous les accessoires ne sont ni étanches à la poussière, ni étanches à l‘eau.

Veillez à protéger en permanence le PTCarPhone contre l‘humidité et les projections d‘eau à

l‘intérieur du véhicule et évitez les inltrations de particules de poussière dans le boîtier par un

nettoyage régulier.
