Installation/Mounting
Warning: Make sure that anall-pole switch is connected to theincoming mains lead.
Warning: Make sure that theall-pole switch is turned off before beginning installation.
Note: Have someone assist you during installation.
1. Open thebox and remove thefan and its parts. Check that all theparts are present.
2. Screw theceiling rose (9) onto themotor
housing (8), using theincluded screws and
washers (shown by the arrows) that are
pre-mounted to themotor housing.
3. Flip thefan over so that thelamp housing is
facing upwards. Screw thefan blade brackets
(6) onto themotor’s drive disc, in thefollowing
order: Rubber washer (pre-mounted), blade
bracket, washer and screw. Use thescrews
and washers that are pre-mounted onto
thelamp housing (shown by the arrows).
4. Screw thefan blades (7) onto thefan brackets.
Thefan blade’s screws and washers and pull-
chains (1 and 4) come in aplastic bag.
5. Screw theceiling mounting bracket (12) into
theceiling , making sure that theincoming
mains lead enters through thebracket’s
centre hole. Use appropriate screws and
flat/spring washers for fastening. Make sure
that themounting surface and screws have
sufficient weight bearing capacity for theweight
of thefan before installing theceiling mounting
bracket. Make sure there are no hidden
electrical cables or pipes in theceiling before
drilling any mounting holes.
6. Connect theelectrical wires from theincoming
mains conduit to themounting bracket’s
terminal block (10). Connect theblue wire to
theN terminal thebrown wire to theL terminal
and theyellow/green wire to the
terminal.
