Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung vor der ersten Verwendung sorgfältig durch!
Nach Erkenntnissen der modernen Arbeitsmedizin sind Menschen in Pflegeberufen arbeitsbedingt stark körperlich
belastet. Oft kommt es zu Rückenschäden. Es gibt viele Situationen, in denen ein Pflegebedürftiger von einem Bett,
einer Transportliege, einer Ambulanzliege, einem Röntgentisch oder einem Rollstuhl auf eine andere Liege- oder
Sitzfläche umgelagert werden muss. Durch den Einsatz von Transferhilfen, kann die Belastung des Anwenders und
des Pflegebedürftigen entscheidend reduziert werden.
Der Einsatz der Transferhilfen sollte unter der Voraussetzung erfolgen, dass der Anwender den Umgang mit ihnen
erlernt hat. Der Anwender muss selbstständig entscheiden, welches Hilfsmittel der Situation des Pflegebedürftigen
und dem beabsichtigten Bewegungsablauf gerecht wird.
Die Gleitmatte Rollstuhl ist Teil eines Produktprogramms, welches speziell zur Unterstützung beim Aufrichten von
im Rollstuhl nach vorne gerutschten Pflegebedürftigen in der häuslichen Pflege, Krankenhäusern und anderen
medizinischen Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens genutzt wird.
Das Produkt darf nur zu angegebenen Zweck und Bedingungen genutzt werden.
Die Gleitmatte Rollstuhl ist eine sichere Transferhilfe, die für den Pflegebedürftigen angenehme und komfortable
sowie für den Anwender rückenschonende und einfache Aufrichtvorgänge ermöglicht.
Die Hinweise in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beziehen sich auf die pflegebedürftige Person, die bewegt wird sowie
auf den Anwender, die den Transfer vornimmt.

Wird das Produkt gemäß den Sicherheitsvorschriften verwendet, beträgt die zu erwartende Produktlebensdauer
fünf Jahre. Die effektive Lebensdauer kann jedoch, abhängig von der Häufigkeit und Intensität des Gebrauchs, der
Anzahl der Wasch- und Desinfektionsvorgänge, variieren.
Führen Sie regelmäßig eine Funktionskontrolle mit dem Produkt durch und beachten Sie unbedingt die
Sicherheitshinweise (siehe 2).
2 Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG kennzeichnet eine mögliche Gefährdung, die zu Personen- oder Sachschäden
führen könnte.
➢ Es liegt in der Verantwortung der Einrichtung / des Anwenders anhand der Gegebenheiten (Gewicht
/ Gesundheitszustand des Pflegebedürftigen) und des Leistungsvermögens des Anwenders, zu
beurteilen, ob ggf. mehrere Anwender für den Transfer notwendig sind oder zusätzliche
Sicherungsmaßnahmen getroffen werden müssen.
➢ Defekte Produkte dürfen nicht mehr verwendet werden.
➢ Achten Sie darauf, dass die Transfers rückengerecht von den Anwendern ausgeführt werden.
➢ Bei direktem Hautkontakt ist die Beobachtung von Veränderungen des Hautbildes angezeigt.
➢ Gewichtsbegrenzungen sind einzuhalten (200 kg).
➢ Umlagerungsprodukte unterliegen einem natürlichen Alterungsprozess. Überprüfen Sie die Hilfsmittel
regelmäßig auf ihre Funktionstauglichkeit.
➢ Bei Verwendung von nicht handelsüblichen Waschmitteln bzw. Bleichmitteln, Alkohol, Weichspüler
oder anderen chemischen Waschzusätzen können sich die Funktionseigenschaften der Gleitmatte
Rollstuhl nachhaltig verschlechtern.

3 Produktanwendung
3.1 Indikation und Wiedereinsatz
Die Indikationen können aufgrund der großen Einsatzmöglichkeiten an keinem bestimmten Krankheitsbild
festgemacht werden, da die Gleitmatte Rollstuhl für alle Anwendungen an Menschen mit Unterstützungsbedarf bei
Positionierungen im Rollstuhl geeignet sind.
➢ Reduzierung der Scher- und Reibungskräfte am Kreuzbein
➢ Reduzierung der Scher- und Reibungskräfte im Bereich der Sitzhöcker
Das Produkt ist für den Wiedereinsatz geeignet.
Führen Sie vor dem Wiedereinsatz unbedingt eine gründliche Funktionskontrolle (siehe Punkt 2.2) sowie eine
Reinigung bzw. Desinfektion des Produktes durch. (siehe Punkt 5)

3.2 Kontraindikation
Kontraindikationen können an keinem bestimmten Krankheitsbild festgemacht werden. Unter Berücksichtigung der
Sicherheitshinweise (siehe Punkt 2), darf bei folgenden Patientenbeschwerden das Produkt nicht angewandt
werden:
➢ Agitiertheit des Pflegebedürftigen
➢ Hoher Strecktonus
3.3 Anwendungsrisiken
➢ Aktivität des Pflegebedürftigen wird falsch eingeschätzt → Sturzgefahr
➢ Falsches Einlegen → Sturzgefahr
3.4 Einsatzbereiche
Das Produkt kann in Krankenhäusern und anderen medizinischen Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens sowie
in der häuslichen Pflege eingesetzt werden.
3.5 Illustration der Anwendung
3.6 Anwendung
Die Gleitmatte Rollstuhl wurde für Pflegebedürftige entwickelt, die im Rollstuhl nach vorne gerutscht sind. Mit
der Gleitmatte Rollstuhl können Pflegebedürftige wieder in eine stabile Sitzposition gebracht werden.
Alle Gleitmatten Rollstuhl gleiten nur in eine Richtung und werden dauerhaft unter dem Pflegebedürftigen
positioniert. Der aufgenähte Pfeil zeigt die Bewegungsrichtung an.
3.6.1 PM-2070 Gleitmatte Rollstuhl 500 x 540 mm (Tunnelgleitmatte)
Bei der Gleitmatte Rollstuhl handelt es sich um eine Tunnelgleitmatte. Der Pfeil zeigt die
Bewegungsrichtung an. Je nach Voraussetzung kann sich der Rollstuhlfahrer aus eigener Kraft
oder mit Unterstützung in eine stabile Position bringen. Bei glatten Rollstuhlsitzflächen muss
unter die Gleitmatte Rollstuhl eine Antirutschmatte gelegt werden.

3.6.2 PM-2076 Gleitmatte Rollstuhl1300 x 450 mm (offene Gleitmatte)
Bei der Gleitmatte Rollstuhl handelt es sich um eine offene Gleitmatte. Der Pfeil zeigt die
Bewegungsrichtung an.
Vorbereitung
➢ Mit den Bändern die Gleitmatte an der Rollstuhllehne im hinteren Sitzbereich befestigen. Nicht an
den Seitenteilen!
➢ Die Gleitmatte umschlagen und auf den Sitzbereich legen.
➢ Die Funktionsflächen müssen innen aufeinanderliegen.
➢ Die ersten Zugschlaufen liegen seitlich an der Rückenlehne an.
Transfer
➢ Der Rollstuhlfahrer kann mit Unterstützung durch Ziehen an den Schlaufen in eine stabile Position
gebracht werden.
➢ Dieser Vorgang kann mehrfach wiederholt werden.
3.6.3 PM-2078 Gleitmatte Rollstuhl 1350 x 430 mm (offene Gleitmatte)
Bei der Gleitmatte Rollstuhl handelt es sich um eine offene Gleitmatte. Der Pfeil zeigt die Bewegungsrichtung
an.
Vorbereitung
➢ Mit den Bändern die Gleitmatte an der Rollstuhllehne im hinteren Sitzbereich befestigen. Nicht an
den Seitenteilen!
➢ Die Gleitmatte umschlagen und auf den Sitzbereich legen.
➢ Die Funktionsflächen müssen innen aufeinanderliegen.
➢ Das konisch zulaufende Ende mit den Zugschlaufen wird durch den Spalt zwischen Rückenlehne und
Sitzfläche geführt.
Transfer
➢ Der Rollstuhlfahrer kann mit Unterstützung durch Ziehen an den Schlaufen in eine stabile Position
gebracht werden.
➢ Dieser Vorgang kann mehrfach wiederholt werden.

1 General Information

Please read the user manual carefully before using the product for the first time!
The current understanding in modern occupational health and safety is that people in nursing professions
experience significant work-related physical strain. Back injuries are common. There are many situations in which a
patient has to be transferred from a bed, a wheeled stretcher, ambulance stretcher, an X-Ray table or a wheelchair
to a different stretcher or seat. The strain on the user and the patient / care-dependent can be reduced significantly
through the use of sliding mats.
The use of transfer aids should be conditional upon the user having learned to use the equipment properly. The
user has to decide for themselves what equipment is suitable to the patient's situation and the intended sequence
of movements.
The Sliding Mat Wheelchair is part of a product line which is used specifically to aid in raising patients who have slid
forward in the wheelchair in home care settings, hospitals and other health care facilities.
The product may only be used for the specified purpose and under the specified conditions.
The Sliding Mats Wheelchair are a safe transfer aid, which allows for a setup transfer which is pleasant and
comfortable for the patient as well as being simple and back-friendly for the users.
The information in this user manual is for the patient who is being transferred and moved, as well as the user
performing the transfer / position change.

However, the effective service life may vary depending on the frequency and intensity of use and the number of
washing and disinfection cycles.

2 Safety information
WARNING indicates a potential danger which could lead to personal injury or material damage.
➢ It is the responsibility of the organisation / the user to determine, on the basis of the circumstances
(weight / health condition of the patient) and the capabilities of the user, whether several users may
be required for the transfer and/or whether additional safety measures are required.
➢ Defective products may no longer be used.
➢ Ensure that the transfers are performed by the users in a back-friendly manner.
➢ In case of direct skin contact, observation of changes in skin appearance is indicated.
➢ Weight limits must be observed (200 kg).
➢ Transfer products are subject to a natural ageing process. Inspect the equipment regularly to ensure
proper functionality.
➢ The use of non-standard cleaning agents or bleaching agents, alcohols, fabric softeners or other
chemical laundry additives may lead to permanent deterioration of the product properties.

3 Using the product
3.1 Indication and further use
Due to the wide range of possible applications, the indications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture, since
Sliding Mats Wheelchair are suitable for all applications involving people who require assistance. Thanks to the
reduced friction, the capabilities of the patient can be put to use when Sliding Mats Wheelchair are used. The effort
required on the part of the user is reduced.

This product may be reused.
Before reusing the product, be sure to perform a thorough function check (see item 2.2) as well as cleaning or

3.2 Contraindications
Contraindications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture. Under consideration of the safety information (see
item 2), the product may not be used if the patient has any of the following conditions:
➢ Agitated patient
➢ Elevated extensor tone

The product can be used in home care and other health care facilities as well as hospitals.

The Sliding Mat Wheelchair was developed for patients who have slid forward in the wheelchair. The Sliding
Mat Wheelchair can be used to return patients to a stable sitting position.
All Sliding Mats Wheelchair only slide in one direction and are placed underneath the patient permanently.
The sewn-on arrow indicates the direction of movement.
3.6.1 PM-2070 Sliding Mat Wheelchair 500 x 540 mm (tubular sliding mat)
The Sliding Mat Wheelchair is a tubular sliding mat. The arrow indicates the direction of
movement. Depending on the circumstances, the wheelchair user can place themselves in a
stable position on their own or with assistance. With smooth wheelchair seats, an anti-slip mat
must be placed underneath the Sliding Mat Wheelchair.
3.6.2 PM-2076 Sliding Mat Wheelchair 1300 x 450 mm (open sliding mat)
The Sliding Mat Wheelchair is an open sliding mat. The arrow indicates the direction of
movement.
Preparation
➢ Use the straps to attach the Sliding Mat Wheelchair to the wheelchair backrest at the back of the
seat. Not on the sides!
➢ Fold the Sliding Mat Wheelchair and place it on the seat.
➢ The sliding surfaces must face in towards one another.
➢ The first pulling loops are positioned against the sides of the backrest.

Transfer
➢ The wheelchair user can be placed in a stable position with assistance by pulling on the loops.
➢ This process can be repeated several times.
3.6.3 PM-2078 Sliding Mat Wheelchair 1350 x 430 mm (open sliding mat)
The Sliding Mat Wheelchair is an open sliding mat. The arrow indicates the direction of movement.
Preparation
➢ Use the straps to attach the Sliding Mat Wheelchair to the wheelchair backrest at the back of the
seat. Not on the sides!
➢ Fold the Sliding Mat Wheelchair and place it on the seat.
➢ The sliding surfaces must face in towards one another.
➢ The tapered end with the pulling loops is routed through the gap between the backrest and seat.
Transfer
➢ The wheelchair user can be placed in a stable position with assistance by pulling on the loops.
➢ This process can be repeated several times.

The Petermann Sliding Mat Wheelchair is a Class I Medical Device and meets the EU-Regulation

Mild detergent
Do not use cleaning agents with bleaching ingredients
or chemical laundry additives!
Otherwise the product properties may deteriorate
permanently.
Wash with similar colours only
* wipe with a cloth soaked in water after disinfection to
avoid residues or layer build-up. Please always follow
the manufacturer's manuals for use when wiping
disinfection.
Recommended detergent for industrial washing
machines:
- - Maximo Liquid as single detergent
Low dryer temperatures (45° - 50° C)
Be sure to follow the care instructions on the label of each product as well as the manuals for use.

When using products marked with an *, wipe down again using a water-soaked cloth after disinfection has been

Det rådande synsättet på arbetsmiljöområdet är att personer i vårdyrken upplever betydande arbetsrelaterad fysisk
belastning. Ryggskador är vanliga. Det finns många olika situationer där en brukare måste flyttas över från en säng,
en bår med hjul, en ambulansbår, ett röntgenbord eller en (rull)stol till en annan bår eller stol. Belastningen på
användaren och brukaren kan minskas avsevärt genom att glidmattor används.
Användning av förflyttningshjälpmedel förutsätter att användaren har lärt sig att använda utrustningen på rätt sätt.
Användaren måste själv bestämma vilken utrustning som är lämplig för brukarens situation och den förväntade
rörelsesekvensen.
Chair Sliding Mat ingår i en produktlinje som används specifikt för att hjälpa till att resa upp brukare som har glidit
framåt i (rull)stolen i hemvårdsmiljöer, på sjukhus och andra vårdinrättningar.
Produkten får endast användas för det angivna ändamålet och under de angivna förutsättningarna.
Chair Sliding Mat är ett säkert överflyttningshjälpmedel, som möjliggör en överflyttning som är behaglig och
bekväm för brukaren samt enkel och skonsam för användarens rygg.
Informationen i denna bruksanvisning är avsedd för brukaren som överförs och flyttas och för den användare som
utför överflyttningen/positionsändringen.

livslängden kan dock variera beroende på användningsfrekvens och användningsintensitet samt antalet tvätt- och
desinficeringscykler.

2 Säkerhetsinformation

tillstånd) och användarens förmåga avgöra om flera användare kan behövas för överflyttningen
och/eller om ytterligare säkerhetsåtgärder krävs.
➢ Defekta produkter får inte längre användas.
➢ Se till att användarna utför överflyttningen på ett sätt som är skonsamt för ryggen.
➢ Viktgränser måste respekteras (200 kg).
➢ Överflyttningsprodukter utsätts för en naturlig åldrandeprocess. Inspektera utrustningen
regelbundet för att säkerställa att den fungerar på rätt sätt.
➢ Användning av rengöringsmedel eller blekmedel, alkoholbaserade medel, sköljmedel eller andra
kemiska tvättillsatser som inte är av standardsort kan leda till permanent försämring av produktens
egenskaper.
