Replace damaged exhausts, fuel
tanks, or filler caps.
Do not operate the unit unless it is in
perfect and safe working order.
Before using the unit, always check
whether the tiller blades, fastening
bolts and safety equipment are worn
or damaged. Have a specialist
company replace worn or damaged
parts.
Spare parts must fulfil the require-
ments laid down by the manufac-
turer. You should therefore only use
original spare parts or those which
have been approved by the manu-
facturer.
Turn off the engine and remove the
spark plug terminal when
– you are not working with the
machine or
– you move well away from it.
Store the machine and fuel in a safe
location
– away from sources of fire (sparks,
flames)
– inaccessible to children.
Allow the engine to cool down
before you put the machine into
a closed room.
Only have the machine repaired by
a specialist workshop.

Repeated and progressive depth

compost to be absorbed into the
soil. A harvested field is recultivated

L'utilisation de cet appareil est

Remplacez le pot d'échappement,
le réservoir ou le bouchon du
réservoir s'ils sont abîmés.
N'utilisez l'appareil que celui-ci en
parfait état technique.
Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez si
les lames de binage, boulons de
fixation et dispositifs de sécurité
sont usés ou endommagés.
Confiez le remplacement des pièces
usées ou endommagées à un atelier
spécialisé.
Les pièces de rechange doivent
satisfaire aux exigences fixées par
le fabricant. Pour cette raison,
n’utilisez que des pièces de
rechange d’origine ou des pièces
homologuées par le fabricant.
Arrêtez le moteur puis débranchez la
cosse de la batterie lorsque vous
– cessez de travailler avec l'appareil
ou
– que vous vous éloignez de
l'appareil.
Rangez l'appareil et le carburant
dans un endroit sûr
– éloigné de toute source d'ignition
(étincelles, flammes)
– hors de portée des enfants.
Avant de ranger l’appareil dans un
local fermé, laissez au moteur le
temps de refroidir.
Ne confiez les réparations de
l'appareil qu'à un atelier spécialisé.

Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats,
passez plusieurs fois sur la même
surface en augmentant la pro-
fondeur de binage à chaque
nouveau passage. Cette méthode
enfouit plus profondément un
compost préalablement épandu. Si
l'appareil traite un champ dont les
cultures ont été récoltées, les restes
de plantes sont enfouis dans la terre
par les lames.
■ Réglez la profondeur de binage
suivant la nature du sol (voir
«Régler la profondeur de binage»).
Si le sol est dur, passez l'appareil
plusieurs fois, en augmentant la
profondeur de binage à chaque
nouveau passage.
■ Amenez la roue de transport en
position de binage (voir «Réglage
de la roue de transport»).
■ Faites démarrer le moteur (voir la
section intitulée «Démarrage du
moteur»).
■ Tirez/appuyez la manette
d'embrayage (2) contre la poignée
du guidon et maintenez-la en
position.
■ En abaissant ou remontant
le guidon, vous modulez la
profondeur et la vitesse de binage:
Abaissez le guidon pour biner plus
profondément et plus lentement.
Relevez-le pour biner moins
profondément et plus vite.
■ Passez l'appareil sur la surface
selon un schéma en croix (voir
fig. ).
