My-Trak WPT250 – Quick Start Guide
How do I use my My-Trak WPT250?
1. Visit www.my-trak.eu and register your unit. Once you have registered your
device you will receive an email confirming your login details.
Please note. It is important that you provide a correct email address during
registration or you will not receive your login details.
2. Next log in at www.my-trak.eu using the ‘Existing user login’ button
3. Press the ‘Instructions’ button on each page of the website to see step by step
guidance on how to set up and install your My-Trak device and to learn more
about the features and functionality available.

Getting to know your My-Trak WPT250
1. USB charger socket
Charge your WPT250 using the AC charger provided.
It will take approximately 3 hours to fully charge.
2. Battery light indicator
Red when battery low and requires charging.
Orange when charging. Green when fully charged.
3. GPS indicator
Red flashing LED – No GPS connection
Green flashing LED – GPS connection successful
4. GSM indicator
Green flashing LED – GPRS connection successful.
Red flashing LED – No GPRS connection
5. Power button
Press and hold for 5 seconds to power on. 3 Green LEDs will flash for a few seconds
as WPT250 boots up. Press and hold for 5 seconds to power off.
Please note it may take a few minutes for WPT250 to connect to GPS and GPRS
after you have powered it on.

Obtaining the WPT250 location using a mobile phone
1. Ensure that you have registered your WPT250 at www.my-trak.eu
2. Login to your My-Trak account and add the telephone number of your mobile
phone in ‘Alert Contact Details’ (You can add up to 5 mobile phone numbers)
3. Set up an SOS alert in the ‘Alerts’ setting, allocating your mobile phone number
to receive the alert.
4. Power on your WPT250 and wait until the device has obtained both GPS and
GSM connections.
5. Retrieve the telephone number of your device by pressing and holding the SOS
button on the front of the device.Your WPT250 will automatically send an SMS
message to your mobile phone including its position and mobile phone number.
Make a note of this telephone number or save it in your phone as a contact.
6. To obtain the location of your WPT250 at any time, send the letters GPS as an SMS
message to the telephone number of the device. The device will automatically
send an SMS message to any mobile telephone numbers set up to receive them.
7. The SMS message includes the co-ordinates of the device as well as a URL. To
see the position of the device enter the co-ordinates into Google Maps, Google
Earth or similar. If you have a mobile phone with an internet connection, click on
the URL shown in the SMS and the position of your device will be displayed via
the My-Trak micro map site on the phone itself.

My-Trak WPT250 – Kurzanleitung
Wie verwende ich meinen My-Trak WPT250?
1. Gehen Sie auf www.my-trak.de und registrieren Ihr Gerät. Sie erhalten dann per
Email Ihre Login-Details.
Bitte beachten Sie: geben Sie eine richtig geschriebene und aktive Emailadresse
bei der Registrierung an, sonst können Sie keine Zugangsdaten erhalten.
2. Nach Erhalt der Daten loggen Sie sich bitte unter „Registrierung für
bestehende Benutzer“ ein.
3. Drücken Sie jeweils auf „Anleitung“ , um detaillierte Anweisungen und
Informationen zum Einstellen Ihres My-Trak-Gerätes und Alles über die
Verwendungsmöglichkeiten zu erhalten.

Lernen Sie Ihr WPT250 kennen:
1. USB-Ladebuchse
Laden Sie Ihr WPT250 über den mitgelieferten
Netzadapter auf. Ein vollständiger Ladevorgang
dauert bis zu 3 Stunden.
2. Batterieanzeige
Leuchtet rot, wenn die Batterie schwach ist und
geladen werden muss.
Leuchtet orange während des Ladevorgangs. Leuchtet grün, sobald vollständig
aufgeladen.
3. GPS-Anzeige
Rote LED blinkt – keine GPS-Verbindung
Grüne LED blinkt – bestehende GPS-Verbindung
4. GSM-Anzeige
Grüne LED blinkt – bestehende GPRS-Verbindung
Rote LED blinkt – keine GPRS-Verbindung
5. Ein-/Aus-Taste
Drücken und halten Sie diese für 5 Sekunden zum Einschalten. 3 grüne LEDs
werden als Zeichen des Hochfahrens des Gerätes einige Sekunde blinken.
Drücken und halten Sie die Taste auch für 5 Sekunden zum Ausschalten.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass es einige Zeit benötigt, bis Ihr WPT250 eine GPS- u.
GPRS-Verbindung aufbauen konnte.

Positionsbestimmung durch das WPT250 über ein Mobiltelefon:
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr WPT250 auf www.my-trak.eu registriert wurde.
2. Loggen Sie sich in Ihren My-Trak-Account ein und hinterlegen Sie unter
„Gerätedetails verwalten“ in „Kontaktdaten für Meldungen“ bis zu 5
verschiedene Mobilfunknummern.
3. Stellen Sie eine Alarmmeldung in „Meldungen“ ein, um über eine hinterlegte
Mobilfunknummer eine Alarmmeldung empfangen zu können.
4. Schalten Sie Ihr WPT250 ein und warten bis dieses sowohl GPS- als auch GPRS-
Verbindung hat.
5. Rufen Sie jetzt für einen Alarm Ihr Mobiltelefon durch Drücken und Halten der
SOS-Taste auf der Vorderseite des Gerätes an. Ihr WPT250 wird dann automatisch
eine SMS inkl. der geografischen Position und dessen Mobilfunknummer
senden. Notieren Sie sich bitte diese Nummer oder speichern Sie diese als
neuen Kontakt (z.B. „WPT250“) in Ihrem Mobiltelefon ab.
6. Um die Position Ihres WPT250 jederzeit abrufen zu können, senden Sie an die
nun abgespeicherte Nummer Ihres WPT250 per SMS die Buchstaben ‚GPS’ . Ihr
Gerät wird dann automatisch an alle hinterlegten Mobilfunknummern eine
Positions-SMS zurücksenden.
7. Diese SMS wird sowohl die Geokoordinaten als auch eine URL (Link) enthalten.
Um die Position auf einer Karte anzusehen, geben Sie die Koordinaten z.B. bei
GoogleMaps, GoogleEarth oder ähnlichen ein. Wenn Sie ein internetfähiges
Mobiltelefon mit aktiver Internetverbindung verwenden, klicken Sie auf die
URL (den Link) in der SMS und Ihnen wird die Position automatisch per My-Trak-
Mikrokarte dargestellt.

Hoe gebruik ik mijn My-Trak WPT250?
1. Ga naar www.my-trak.eu en registreer uw apparaat. Zodra u bent geregistreerd
ontvangt u voor uw apparaat een e-mail met de bevestiging van uw aanmeldgegevens.
Opmerking: Het is van belang dat u tijdens de registratie een juist e-mailadres
opgeeft, anders kunt u de aanmeldgegevens niet ontvangen.
2. Meld u vervolgens aan op www.my-trak.eu met behulp van de knop ‘Aanmelden
bestaande gebruiker’.
3. Druk op de knop ‘Instructies’ op elke pagina van de website om stap-voor-stap
instructies te zien voor het installeren van uw My-Trak-apparaat en om meer te
lezen over de beschikbare functies en functionaliteit. .

Bediening van uw My-Trak WPT250
1. USB-oplaadstekker
U kunt uw WPT250 opladen met behulp van de
meegeleverde netstroomoplader.
Het opladen duurt ongeveer 3 uur.
2.Batterij-indicator
Licht rood op als de batterijen bijna leeg zijn en moeten worden opgeladen.
Licht oranje op tijdens het laden. Licht groen op indien volledig opgeladen.
3. GPS-indicator
Rood knipperende led – Geen GPS-verbinding
Groen knipperende led – GPS-verbinding gemaakt
4. GSM-indicator
Groen knipperende led – GPRS-verbinding gemaakt
Rood knipperende led – Geen GPRS-verbinding
5. Aan/uit-knop
Houd 5 seconden ingedrukt om het apparaat aan te zetten 3 groene led’s
knipperen een paar seconden terwijl de WPT250 wordt opgestart. Houd 5
seconden ingedrukt om het apparaat uit te zetten.
Let wel dat het een paar minuten kan duren voordat WPT250 verbinding heeft
gemaakt met GPS en GPRS nadat u het apparaat hebt aangezet.

De WPT250-locatie verkrijgen via een mobiele telefoon
1. Zorg dat u uw WPT250 hebt geregistreerd op www.my-trak.eu
2. Meld u aan op uw My-Trak-account en voeg het nummer van uw mobiele
telefoon toe in ‘Details waarschuwingscontact’ (u kunt hier maximaal 5 mobiele-
telefoonnummers opgeven).
3. Stel een SOS-waarschuwing in bij ‘Waarschuwingen’, waarbij u uw mobiele-
telefoonnummer opgeeft als ontvanger van de waarschuwing.
4. Zet de WPT250 aan en wacht tot het apparaat zowel GPS- als GSM-verbinding
heeft.
5. Haal het telefoonnummer van uw apparaat op door de SOS-knop voorop het
apparaat even ingedrukt te houden. Uw WPT250 stuurt automatisch een SMS-
bericht naar uw mobiele telefoon, dat ook de positie en het telefoonnummer
van het apparaat bevat. Noteer dit nummer of sla het in uw telefoon op als
contactpersoon.
6. Hierna kunt u wanneer u maar wilt de locatie van uw WPT250 controleren
door de letters GPS in een SMS-bericht te sturen naar het telefoonnummer van
het apparaat. Het apparaat stuurt dan automatisch een SMS-bericht naar de
mobiele-telefoonnummers die als ontvanger zijn ingesteld.
7. Het SMS-bericht bevat de coördinaten van het apparaat, evenals een webadres.
Om de positie van het apparaat te zien, voert u de coördinaten in Google Maps,
Google Earth of iets dergelijks in. Als uw mobiele telefoon internetverbinding
heeft, klikt u op het webadres dat in het SMS-bericht staat vermeld, en de
positie van het apparaat wordt via de My-Trak microkaartsite op de telefoon
weergegeven.

Utilisation de My-Trak WPT250
1. Consultez www.my-trak.eu et enregistrez votre appareil. Une fois l’appareil
enregistré, vous recevrez un E-mail confirmant vos coordonnées de connexion.
Remarque : veillez à entrer une adresse électronique correcte lors de
l’enregistrement, sous peine de ne pas recevoir vos coordonnées de connexion.
2. Connectez-vous ensuite à www.my-trak.eu en cliquant sur le bouton «

3. Appuyez sur le bouton « Instructions » sur chaque page du site Web pour afficher
des instructions détaillées relatives à la configuration et à l’installation de votre
appareil My-Trak et vous familiariser avec les fonctionnalités et caractéristiques

Présentation de My-Trak WPT250
1. Prise chargeur USB
Chargez le WPT250 à l’aide du chargeur AC fourni.
Une charge complète prend environ 3 heures.
2. Indicateur de batterie
Rouge si la batterie est faible et doit être chargée.
Orange en cours de charge. Vert si la batterie est complètement chargée.
3. Indicateur GPS
Voyant clignotant rouge : pas de connexion GPS
Voyant clignotant vert : connexion GPS établie
4. Indicateur GSM
Voyant clignotant vert : connexion GPRS établie
Voyant clignotant rouge : pas de connexion GPRS
5. Bouton Marche/Arrêt
Appuyez pendant 5 secondes sur ce bouton pour mettre l’appareil sous tension.
3 voyants verts clignotent pendant quelques secondes au démarrage du WPT250.
Appuyez sur ce bouton pendant 5 secondes pour le mettre hors tension.
Notez que l’établissement de la connexion GPS et GPRS risque de prendre
quelques minutes après la mise sous tension du WPT250.

Obtention de l’emplacement du WPT250 à l’aide d’un téléphone
portable
1. Veillez à enregistrer le WPT250 à l’adresse www.my-trak.eu.
2. Connectez-vous à votre compte My-Trak et ajoutez votre numéro de téléphone
portable dans « Coordonnées du destinataire des alertes » (vous pouvez ajouter
5 numéros de portable au total).
3. Définissez une alerte SOS via le paramètre « Alertes », en stipulant qu’elle doit
être envoyée à votre portable.
4. Allumez le WPT250 et attendez qu’il ait établi les connexions GPS et GSM.
5. Récupérez le numéro de portable correspondant au WPT250 en appuyant
pendant plusieurs secondes sur le bouton SOS, situé à l’avant de l’appareil.
Le WPT250 envoie automatiquement un message SMS à votre portable pour
indiquer sa position et son propre numéro. Prenez note de ce numéro ou
enregistrez-le dans vos contacts sur votre téléphone.
6. Pour obtenir l’emplacement du WPT250 à tout moment, envoyez les lettres GPS
dans un message SMS au numéro de téléphone du WPT250. Celui-ci envoie
automatiquement un message SMS aux numéros de portable configurés pour la
réception de ces messages.
7. Le message SMS contient les coordonnées du WPT250, ainsi qu’une URL. Pour
afficher la position de l’appareil, entrez les coordonnées dans Google Maps,
Google Earth, etc. Si votre portable est équipé d’une connexion Internet, cliquez
sur l’URL que contient le SMS. La position de votre appareil s’affiche sur le
téléphone, via le site de microcartes My-Trak.

¿Cómo uso My-Trak WPT250?
1. Visite www.my-trak.eu y registre la unidad. Una vez registrado el dispositivo,
recibirá un correo electrónico de confirmación con sus datos de inicio de sesión.
