HEADSET ASSEMBLY: OVER-THE-HEAD

To identify headset components, please refer to the above

diagram key (1-12). For assembly instructions, please refer to

the diagrams A-F on page 3.

Please note that the headset is supplied configured for right ear

use. If this is how you wish to wear the headset refer to Fig A-C.

Fig A. Ensuring that the pivot pin holder on the headband is facing

forwards, push the pivot pin on the receiver into the pivot

pin holder.

Fig B. Press the headset cable into the cable stabiliser channel and

then connect the headset cable to your telephone or amplifier.

Fig C. Adjust the headband length so the stabiliser bars rest gently

above your ears. Then push the receiver close to your ear until

it feels comfortable. Position the noise-cancelling microphone

or voice tube towards your mouth. Adjust the position of the

boom by either raising or lowering the boom or swivelling the

headset forward and backwards from the pivot point. You are

now ready to make and receive calls.

To convert to left ear use refer to Fig D-E.

Fig D. To convert the headset for left ear use, first pull out the front

part of the boom (on noise-cancelling models) then rotate it

downward so that it faces the opposite direction. Voice tubes

should simply be rotated.

Fig E. Rotate the receiver downward in the opposite direction to the

boom. The headset is now converted for left ear wear.

Fig F. Quick Disconnect™ Connector – This feature allows you to

move away from the telephone wearing your headset without

disconnecting your call. Before using your headset, join the

connectors together. To move away from your desk, pull the

connectors apart. To resume your call, reconnect.

Clothing Clip – The clothing clip helps to keep the headset free

from the weight of the headset cable. Attach the clip to your

clothing at a comfortable level.

Fig G. Push the pivot pin on the receiver into the pivot pin holder on

the earloop.

Fig H. Press the headset cable into the earloop cable retainer on the

earloop and secure within the notches. Connect the headset

cable to your telephone or amplifer.

Fig I. To position the headset move the earloop away from the receiver

and place the earloop over your ear. Then push the receiver close

to your ear until it feels comfortable. Position the noise-cancelling

microphone or voice tube towards your mouth. Adjust the position

of the boom by either raising or lowering the boom or swivelling

the headset forward and backwards from the pivot point. You are

now ready to make and receive calls.

TROUBLESHOOTING

MAINTENANCE HINTS FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE

Replace the ear cushion every 6 months.

Replace the voice tube every 6 months.

Unplug the headset cable and clean both the cable and headset with a

moist cloth once a month or when necessary.

PROBLEM

Callers cannot hear me.

Ensure that the boom is correctly positioned towards your mouth.

Check that the headset is correctly plugged into your

telephone or amplifier.

For voice tube models, determine if the voice tube is

blocked, by removing it and speaking into the silver tube.

If the caller can now hear you, simply replace the voice

tube with a new one.

Plantronics recommends replacing the voice tube every

6 months.

PROBLEM

I cannot hear callers.

Ensure that the receiver is correctly positioned against your ear.

Check that the headset is correctly plugged into your

telephone or amplifier.

Check that the Quick Disconnect™ is connected.

PROBLEM

The headband is uncomfortable.

Adjust the headband by lengthening or shortening the

band ensuring the stabiliser bars rest gently above the ear.

PROBLEM

The earloop is uncomfortable.

Adjust the conformable earloop to suit your ear.

HEADSET-MONTAGE: KOPFBÜGEL

Die einzelnen Komponenten des Headsets sind dem oben

aufgeführten Diagrammschlüssel (1-12) zu entnehmen. Hinweise

zur Montage entnehmen Sie bitte den Abbildungen A-F auf Seite 3.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Headset im Lieferzustand für die

Verwendung am rechten Ohr vorbereitet ist. Falls Sie das Headset

rechts tragen möchten, verwenden Sie die Abbildungen A-C.

Abb. A. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Drehgelenkhalterung am Kopfbügel

nach vorne weist, und drücken Sie den Gelenkstift am

Lautsprecher in die Drehgelenkhalterung.

Abb. B. Drücken Sie das Headset-Kabel in die Kabelführung und

schließen Sie dann das Headset-Kabel an das Telefon oder

den Verstärker an.

Abb. C. Stellen Sie die Länge des Kopfbügels so ein, dass die

Stabilisierungsbügel oberhalb der Ohren sanft anliegen.

Drücken Sie dann den Lautsprecher nahe an das Ohr,

so dass er bequem sitzt. Richten Sie das Noise-Cancelling

Mikrofon oder das Sprechröhrchen zu Ihrem Mund hin aus.

Stellen Sie die Position des Mikrofonarms durch Bewegen

nach oben oder unten oder Drehung am Drehgelenk ein.

Sie können nun Gespräche führen und entgegennehmen.

Der Umbau zur Verwendung am linken Ohr ist in Abb.

D-E dargestellt.

Abb. D. Wenn Sie das Headset für die Verwendung am linken

Ohr umbauen möchten, ziehen Sie zunächst den Vorderteil

des Mikrofonarms heraus (bei Noise-Cancelling Modellen),

und drehen Sie ihn nach unten, so dass er in die

entgegengesetzte Richtung weist. Sprechröhrchen

können einfach gedreht werden.

Abb. E. Drehen Sie den Lautsprecher entgegen der Drehrichtung des

Mikrofonarms nach unten. Das Headset ist nun zum Tragen

am linken Ohr umgebaut.

Abb. F. Quick Disconnect™ Schnellkupplung – dieses

Ausstattungsmerkmal erlaubt es Ihnen, sich beim Tragen

des Headsets vom Telefon zu entfernen, ohne das Gespräch

zu unterbrechen. Vor der Verwendung des Headsets

müssen die Stecker verbunden werden. Wenn Sie sich

von Ihrem Platz entfernen möchten, ziehen Sie die Stecker

auseinander. Stellen Sie die Steckverbindung wieder her,

um das Gespräch fortzusetzen.

Kabelzug-Entlastung – Die Kabelzug-Entlastung dient der

Gewichtsentlastung des Headsets. Befestigen Sie die Klammer

in bequemer Höhe an Ihrer Kleidung.

HEADSET-MONTAGE: KOPFBÜGEL

Ohrbügel und sichern Sie das Kabel in der Nut. Schließen Sie

dann das Headset-Kabel an das Telefon oder den Verstärker an.

Abb. I. Um das Headset aufzusetzen, drehen Sie den Ohrbügel vom

Lautsprecher weg und setzen ihn auf das Ohr. Drücken Sie

dann den Lautsprecher nahe an Ihr Ohr, sodass er bequem

sitzt. Richten Sie das Noise-Cancelling Mikrofon oder das

Sprachröhrchen zu Ihrem Mund hin aus. Stellen Sie die

Position des Mikrofonarms durch Bewegen nach oben oder

unten oder Drehung am Drehgelenk ein. Sie können nun

Gespräche führen und entgegennehmen.

Der Umbau zur Verwendung am linken Ohr ist in Abb. J-K

dargestellt.

Ausstattungsmerkmal erlaubt es Ihnen, sich beim Tragen des

Headsets vom Telefon zu entfernen, ohne das Gespräch zu

unterbrechen. Vor der Verwendung Ihres Headsets müssen

die Stecker verbunden werden. Wenn Sie sich von Ihrem

FEHLERBEHEBUNG

WARTUNGSHINWEISE FÜR OPTIMALE LEISTUNG

Tauschen Sie das Ohrkissen alle 6 Monate aus.

Alle 6 Monate sollten Sie das Sprechröhrchen wechseln.

Einmal im Monat oder bei Bedarf sollten Sie das Headset-Kabel

abziehen und Kabel und Headset mit einem feuchten Stofftuch reinigen.

PROBLEM

Anrufer können mich nicht hören.

Überprüfen Sie, ob der Mikrofonarm korrekt zum Mund weist.

Überprüfen Sie, ob das Headset richtig in das Telefon

oder den Verstärker eingesteckt ist.

Überprüfen Sie bei Sprechröhrchen-Modellen, ob das

Sprechröhrchen verstopft ist. Entfernen Sie es hierzu, und

sprechen Sie in das silberne Röhrchen. Kann der Anrufer

Sie nun verstehen, ersetzen Sie das Sprechröhrchen

einfach durch ein neues.

Plantroncis empfiehlt, das Sprechröhrchen alle 6 Monate

zu wechseln.

PROBLEM

Ich kann die Anrufer nicht hören.

Überprüfen Sie, ob der Lautsprecher korrekt am Ohr platziert ist.

Überprüfen Sie, ob das Headset richtig in das Telefon

oder den Verstärker eingesteckt ist.

Überprüfen Sie, ob die Schnellkupplung Quick

Disconnect™ eingesteckt ist.

PROBLEM

Der Kopfbügel ist unbequem.

Regulieren Sie den Kopfbügel, indem Sie den Bügel länger

oder kürzer machen, und achten Sie dabei darauf, dass die

Stabilisierungsbügel oberhalb der Ohren sanft anliegen.

PROBLEM

Der Ohrbügel ist unbequem.

Passen Sie den flexiblen Ohrbügel an Ihre Ohrform an.
