SUPER–DUTY AUTOMOTIVE IMPACT WRENCHES

Models 211, 212, 211–EU and 212–EU Super Duty Impact Wrenches are designed for

general automotive repair, transmission work, exhaust system replacement and bench

work.

Ingersoll–Rand is not responsible for customer modification of tools for applications

on which Ingersoll–Rand was not consulted.

PLACING TOOL IN SERVICE

• Always operate, inspect and maintain this tool in

accordance with all regulations (local, state,

federal and country), that may apply to hand

held/hand operated pneumatic tools.

• For safety, top performance, and maximum

durability of parts, operate this tool at 90 psig

(6.2 bar/620 kPa) maximum air pressure at the

inlet with 3/8” (10 mm) inside diameter air supply

hose.

• Always turn off the air supply and disconnect the

air supply hose before installing, removing or

adjusting any accessory on this tool, or before

performing any maintenance on this tool.

• Do not use damaged, frayed or deteriorated air

hoses and fittings.

• Be sure all hoses and fittings are the correct size

and are tightly secured. See Dwg. TPD905–1 for a

typical piping arrangement.

• Always use clean, dry air at 90 psig maximum air

pressure. Dust, corrosive fumes and/or excessive

moisture can ruin the motor of an air tool.

• Do not lubricate tools with flammable or volatile

liquids such as kerosene, diesel or jet fuel.

• Do not remove any labels. Replace any damaged

label.

USING THE TOOL

• Always wear eye protection when operating or

performing maintenance on this tool.

• Always wear hearing protection when operating

this tool.

• Keep hands, loose clothing and long hair away

from rotating end of tool.

• Note the position of the reversing lever before

operating the tool so as to be aware of the direction

of rotation when operating the throttle.

• Anticipate and be alert for sudden changes in

motion during start up and operation of any power

tool.

• Keep body stance balanced and firm. Do not

overreach when operating this tool. High reaction

torques can occur at or below the recommended

air pressure.

• Tool shaft may continue to rotate briefly after

throttle is released.

• Air powered tools can vibrate in use. Vibration,

repetitive motions or uncomfortable positions may

be harmful to your hands and arms. Stop using

any tool if discomfort, tingling feeling or pain

occurs. Seek medical advice before resuming use.

• Use accessories recommended by Ingersoll–Rand.

• Use only impact sockets and accessories. Do not

use hand (chrome) sockets or accessories.

• Impact wrenches are not torque wrenches.

Connections requiring specific torque must be

checked with a torque meter after fitting with an

impact wrench.

The use of other than genuine Ingersoll–Rand replacement parts may result in safety hazards, decreased tool

performance, and increased maintenance, and may invalidate all warranties.

Repairs should be made only by authorized trained personnel. Consult your nearest Ingersoll–Rand Authorized

Servicenter.

ADJUSTMENTS

POWER REGULATOR

Model 211 Impact Wrench is equipped with a regulator

that proportions power in both directions simultaneously

and equally. The power output is calibrated by stamped

numbers “1” through “5”.

Model 212 Impact Wrench is equipped with a

combination power regulator/reverse valve designed to

provide power adjustment in the forward direction while

maintaining full power in the reverse direction. The

power output is calibrated by stamped numbers “1”

through “5”.

SETTING THE POWER REGULATOR

Power Adjustment for Model 211

Rotate the Power Regulator (11) so that one of the

numbers on the Power Regulator aligns with the indicator

mark on the rim of the Swivel Inlet Body (8).

The power of the 211 is now adjusted for both directions.

This adjustment will not change regardless of how many

times you shift the Reverse Lever as long as you do not

change the power selection.

Power Adjustment for Model 212

The Model 212 Impact Wrench incorporates a power

regulator into the reverse mechanism that allows the

operator to have either full power output in one direction

and reduced power output in the other direction or full

power output in both directions. To adjust the power,

proceed as follows:

For full power in both directions, rotate the Reverse

Valve (25) until the notch on each end of the Reverse

Valve aligns with the number 5 on each side of the

housing.

The numbers 1 thru 5 on the

housing are only for reference

and DO NOT denote a specific

power output. One (1)

designates the lowest power

output while five (5) denotes

the highest.

For reduced power in the forward direction and full

power in the reverse direction, push the reverse valve

inward on the right side of the tool and rotate the reverse

valve until the notch on the right side aligns with the

desired number on the right side. This provides reduced

power in forward but full power in reverse when the

reverse valve is pushed in the opposite direction.

For reduced power in the reverse direction and full

power in the forward direction, push the reverse valve

inward on the left side of the tool and rotate the reverse

valve until the notch on the left side aligns with the

desired number on the left side. This provides full power

in forward but reduced power in reverse when the reverse

valve is pushed the opposite direction.

PLACING TOOL IN SERVICE

LUBRICATION

Ingersoll–Rand No. 50 Ingersoll–Rand No. 100

Always use of an air line lubricator with these tools.

We recommend the following Filter–Lubricator–Regulator

Unit:

For International– No. C26–C4–A29

For USA– No. C22–04–G00

After each eight hours of operation, unless an air line

lubricator is used, inject 1.5 cc of Ingersoll–Rand

No. 50 Oil into the inlet of the tool and run the tool

briefly.

After each forty–eight hours of operation, or as

experience indicates, inject about 3 cc of Ingersoll–Rand

No. 100 Grease into the Grease Fitting (19A, 31).

MISE EN SERVICE DE L’OUTIL

• Cet outil doit toujours être exploité, inspecté et

entretenu conformément à toutes les

réglementations (locales, départementales,

fédérales et nationales), applicables aux outils

pneumatiques tenus/commandés à la main.

• Pour la sécurité, les performances optimales et la

durabilité maximale des pièces, cet outil doit être

connecté à une alimentation d’air comprimé de

6,2 bar (620 kPa) maximum à l’entrée, avec un

flexible de 10 mm de diamètre intérieur.

• Couper toujours l’alimentation d’air comprimé et

débrancher le flexible d’alimentation avant

d’installer, déposer ou ajuster tout accessoire sur

cet outil, ou d’entreprendre une opération

d’entretien quelconque sur l’outil.

• Ne pas utiliser des flexibles ou des raccords

endommagés, effilochés ou détériorés.

• S’assurer que tous les flexibles et les raccords sont

correctement dimensionnés et bien serrés. Voir

Plan TPD905–1 pour un exemple type

d’agencement des tuyauteries.

• Utiliser toujours de l’air sec et propre à une

pression maximum de 6,2 bar. La poussière, les

fumées corrosives et/ou une humidité excessive

peuvent endommager le moteur d’un outil

pneumatique.

• Ne jamais lubrifier les outils avec des liquides

inflammables ou volatiles tels que le kérosène, le

gasol ou le carburant d’aviation.

• Ne retirer aucune étiquette. Remplacer toute

étiquette endommagée.

UTILISATION DE L’OUTIL

• Porter toujours des lunettes de protection pendant

l’utilisation et l’entretien de cet outil.

• Porter toujours une protection acoustique pendant

l’utilisation de cet outil.

• Tenir les mains, les vêtements flous et les cheveux

longs, éloignés de l’extrémité rotative de l’outil.

• Noter la position du levier d’inversion avant de

mettre l’outil en marche de manière à savoir dans

quel sens il va tourner lorsque la commande est

actionnée.

• Prévoir, et ne pas oublier, que tout outil motorisé

est susceptible d’à–coups brusques lors de sa mise

en marche et pendant son utilisation.

• Garder une position équilibrée et ferme. Ne pas se

pencher trop en avant pendant l’utilisation de cet

outil. Des couples de réaction élevés peuvent se

produire à, ou en dessous, de la pression d’air

recommandée.

• La rotation des accessoires de l’outil peut

continuer pendant un certain temps après le

relâchement de la gâchette.

• Les outils pneumatiques peuvent vibrer pendant

l’exploitation. Les vibrations, les mouvements

répétitifs et les positions inconfortables peuvent

causer des douleurs dans les mains et les bras.

N’utiliser plus d’outils en cas d’inconfort, de

picotements ou de douleurs. Consulter un médecin

avant de recommencer à utiliser l’outil.

• Utiliser les accessoires recommandés par

Ingersoll-Rand.

• N’utiliser que les douilles et les accessoires pour

clés à chocs. Ne pas utiliser les douilles et

accessoires (chromés) de clés manuelles.

• Les clés à chocs ne sont pas des appareils

dynamométriques. Les connexions nécessitant un

couple de serrage spécifique doivent être vérifiées

avec un mesureur de couple après avoir été

assemblées avec un clé à chocs.

NOTE

L’utilisation de rechanges autres que les pièces d’origine Ingersoll–Rand peut causer des risques d’insécurité, réduire les

performances de l’outil et augmenter l’entretien, et peut annuler toutes les garanties.

Les réparations ne doivent être effectuées que par des réparateurs qualifiés autorisés. Consultez votre Centre de Service

RÉGLAGES

RÉGULATEUR DE PUISSANCE

La clé à impacts Modèle 211 est équipée d’un régulateur

qui répartit la puissance également et simultanément dans

les deux directions. La puissance fournie est indiquée par

des numéros poinçonnés de 1” à 5”.

La clé à chocs Modèle 212 est équipée d’un ensemble

combiné régulateur de puissance/soupape d’inversion

destiné à permettre le réglage de puissance en marche

avant tout en maintenant la pleine puissance en marche

arrière. La puissance fournie est indiquée par des numéros

poinçonnés de 1” à 5”.

REGLAGE DU REGULATEUR DE PUISSANCE

Réglage de la puissance du Modèle 211

Faire tourner le régulateur de puissance (11) de façon à ce

qu’un des numéros du régulateur s’alignent sur la marque

de repérage située sur le rebord du corps de raccord

tournant (8).

La puissance du 211 est maintenant réglée dans les deux

sens. La sélection du levier d’inversion ne modifie pas ce

réglage, pour autant que la sélection de puissance ne soit

pas modifiée.

Réglage de la puissance du Modèle 212

La clé à chocs Modèle 212 comporte un régulateur de

puissance dans son mécanisme d’inversion de manière à

ce que l’opérateur puisse avoir soit une pleine puissance

dans une direction et une puissance réduite dans l’autre,

soit une pleine puissance dans les deux directions. Pour

ajuster la puissance, procéder comme suit :

Pour obtenir la pleine puissance dans les deux

directions, tourner la soupape d’inversion (25) jusqu’à ce

que l’encoche aux deux extrémités de la soupape

d’inversion soit alignée par rapport au numéro 5 de

chaque côté du carter.

NOTE

Les numéros 5 à 1 du carter

ne sont donnés qu’à titre de

guide et NE dénotent PAS une

puissance spécifique. Un (1)

indique la puissance la plus

faible tandis que cinq (5)

indique la puissance la plus

élevée.

Pour obtenir une puissance réduite dans le sens avant

et la pleine puissance dans le sens arrière, pousser la

soupape d’inversion vers l’intérieur sur le côté droit de

l’outil et tourner la soupape d’inversion jusqu’à ce que

l’encoche du côté droit de la soupape soit alignée par

rapport au numéro désiré sur le côté droit. Ce réglage

fournit une puissance réduite dans le sens avant, mais une

pleine puissance dans le sens arrière lorsque la soupape

d’inversion est poussée dans la direction opposée.

Pour obtenir une puissance réduite dans le sens arrière

et la pleine puissance dans le sens avant, pousser la

soupape d’inversion vers l’intérieur sur le côté gauche de

l’outil et tourner la soupape d’inversion jusqu’à ce que

l’encoche du côté gauche de la soupape soit alignée par

rapport au numéro désiré sur le côté gauche. Ce réglage

fournit la pleine puissance dans le sens avant, mais une

puissance réduite dans le sens arrière lorsque la soupape

d’inversion est poussée dans la direction opposée.

MISE EN SERVICE DE L’OUTIL

LUBRIFICATION

Utiliser toujours un lubrificateur avec ces outils. Nous

recommandons l’emploi du filtre–régulateur–lubrificateur

International – No. C26–C4–A29

ÉU – N

. C22–04–G00

Toutes les huit heures de fonctionnement, si un

lubrificateur de ligne n’est pas utilisé, injecter 1,5 cm

d’huile Ingersoll–Rand No. 50 dans le raccord

d’admission de l’outil et faire marcher l’outil brièvement.

Toutes les quarante–huit heures de fonctionnement,

ou en fonction de l’expérience, injecter environ 3 cm

graisse Ingersoll–Rand No. 100 dans le raccord de

graissage (19A, 31).

HINWEIS

Schlagschrauber der Baureihe 211, 212, 211–EU und 212–EU werden eingesetzt für

allgemeine Fahrzeugreparaturen, Arbeiten am Getriebe, Austausch der Auspuffanlage

und Arbeiten an der Werkbank.

INBETRIEBNAHME DES WERKZEUGES

• Das Werkzeug stets nach den örtlich und

landesweit geltenden Vorschriften für

handgehaltene/handbetriebene

Druckluftwerkzeuge betreiben.

• Zur Erzielung höchster Sicherheit, Leistung und

Haltbarkeit der Teile sollte dieses Werkzeug mit

einem maximalen Luftdruck von 6,2 bar/620 kPa

(90 psig) am Lufteinlaß und einem

Luftzufuhrschlauch 10 mm (3/8”)

Innendurchmesser betrieben werden.

• Vor Wartungsarbeiten und dem Austausch von

Zubehör ist das Werkzeug von der

Druckluftversorgung abzuschalten.

• Keine beschädigten, durchgescheuerten oder

abgenutzten Luftschläuche und Anschlüsse

verwenden.

• Darauf achten, daß alle Schläuche und Anschlüsse

die passende Größe haben und korrekt befestigt

sind. In Zeichnung TPD905–1 ist eine typische

Rohrleitungsanordnung abgebildet.

• Stets saubere, trockene Luft verwenden und einen

Luftdruck von 6,2 bar verwenden. Staub, ätzende

Dämpfe und/oder Feuchtigkeit können den Motor

eines Druckluftwerkzeuges beschädigen.

• Die Werkzeuge nicht mit brennbaren oder

flüchtigen Flüssigkeiten wie Kerosin und Diesel

schmieren.

• Keine Aufkleber entfernen. Beschädigte Aufkleber

austauschen.

WERKZEUGEINSATZ

• Beim Betreiben oder Warten dieses Werkzeuges

Drossel die Drehrichtung schon bekannt ist.

• Bei Start und Betrieb eines Werkzeuges auf

Rückschlag achten und darauf vorbereitet sein.

• Während des Betreibens für festen Halt sorgen und

den Körper nicht zu weit nach vorne beugen. Bei

Betrieb mit empfohlenem oder niedrigerem

Luftdruck können hohe Reaktionsdrehmomente

auftreten.

• Nach dem Loslassen des Drückers kann die Welle

des Werkzeugs noch kurz weiterdrehen.

• Druckluftbetriebene Werkzeuge können während

des Betriebs vibrieren. Vibrationen, häufige

gleichförmige Bewegungen oder unbequeme

Positionen können schädlich für Hände und Arme

sein. Bei Unbehagen, Kribbeln oder Schmerzen das

Werkzeug nicht mehr benutzen. Vor dem erneuten

Arbeiten mit dem Werkzeug ärztliche Hilfe

aufsuchen.

• Stets von Ingersoll–Rand empfohlenes Zubehör

verwenden.

• Nur Schlagschrauber–Steckschlüssel und

–Zubehör verwenden. Keine Hand–Steckschlüssel

(Chrom) oder –Zubehör verwenden.

• Schlagschrauber sind keine

Drehmomentschrauber. Verbindungen, die ein

bestimmtes Drehmoment erfordern, müssen nach

dem Anziehen mit dem Schlagschrauber mit Hilfe

eines Drehmomentmeßgerätes überprüft werden.

EINSTELLUNGEN

LEISTUNGSREGLER

Schlagschrauber der Baureihe 211 sind mit einem

Regler ausgerüstet, der die Leistung in beide Richtungen

gleichzeitig und gleichmäßig aufteilt. Die Nutzleistung ist

durch eingestempelte Nummern “1” bis “5” kalibriert.

Schlagschrauber der Baureihe 212 sind mit einer

Kombination von Leistungsregler/Umsteuerventil

ausgerüstet, um Leistungseinstellung in Vorwärtsrichtung

bei konstanter Höchstleistung in Rückwärtsrichtung zu

ermöglichen. Die Nutzleistung ist durch eingestempelte

Nummern “1” bis “5” kalibriert.

EINSTELLUNG DES LEISTUNGSREGLERS

Leistungsregelung für Modell 211

Den Leistungsregler (11) so drehen, daß eine der

Nummern auf die Markierung auf dem Rand des

Dreheinlasses (8) ausgerichtet ist.

Die Leistung des Schlagschraubers der Baureihe 211 ist so

für beide Richtungen eingestellt. Diese Einstellung bleibt

bestehen, unabhängig davon, wie oft der Umsteuerhebel

umgelegt wird, es sei denn die Leistungseinstellung wird

verändert.

Leistungsregelung für Modell 212

Schlagschrauber der Baureihe 212 sind mit einem

Leistungsregler für den Umsteuermechanismus

ausgestattet, mit Hilfe dessen der Bediener entweder volle

Leistung in einer Richtung und verringerte Leistung in die

andere Richtung oder volle Leistung in beiden Richtungen

einstellen kann. Zum Einstellen der Leistung wird

folgendermaßen vorgegangen:

Für volle Leistung in beiden Richtungen das

Umsteuerventil (25) so weit drehen bis die Kerben an

beiden Enden des Ventils mit der Nummer 5 an beiden

Seiten des Gehäuses übereinstimmen.

HINWEIS

Die Nummern 1 bis 5 auf dem

Gehäuse dienen nur als

Referenz und bedeuten

KEINE bestimmte Leistung.

Eins (1) steht für geringste,

Fünf (5) für höchste Leistung.

Um verringerte Leistung in Vorwärtsrichtung und

volle Leistung in Umkehrrichtung zu erreichen, das

Umsteuerventil in der rechten Werkzeugseite nach innen

drücken und so weit drehen bis die Kerbe auf der rechten

Seite mit der gewünschten Nummer auf der rechten Seite

übereinstimmt. So wird verringerte Leistung in Vorwärts–

und volle Leistung in Umkehrrichtung erreicht wenn das

Umsteuerventil in die entgegengesetzte Richtung gedrückt

wird. Siehe Zeichnung. TPD1248.

Um verringerte Leistung in Umkehrrichtung und volle

Leistung in Vorwärtsrichtung zu erreichen, das

Umsteuerventil in der linken Werkzeugseite nach innen

drücken und so weit drehen, bis die Kerbe auf der linken

Seite mit der gewünschten Nummer auf der linken Seite

übereinstimmt. So wird volle Leistung in Vorwärts– und

verringerte Leistung in Umkehrrichtung erreicht, wenn das

Umsteuerventil in die entgegengesetzte Richtung gedrückt

INBETRIEBNAHME DES WERKZEUGES

SCHMIERUNG

Ingersoll–Rand Nr. 50 Ingersoll–Rand Nr. 100

Das Werkzeug stets mit einem Leitungsöler verwenden.

Es wird folgende Filter–Regler–Öler–Kombination

empfohlen:

Ingersoll–Rand Modell–Nr. C26–C4–A29

Wird kein Leitungsöler verwendet, nach jeweils acht

Betriebsstunden 1.5 ccm Ingersoll–Rand Nr. 50 in den

Lufteinlaß geben und das Werkzeug kurz laufen lassen.

Nach jeweils 48 Betriebsstunden oder je nach Erfahrung

ungefähr 3 ccm Ingersoll–Rand Fett Nr. 100 in den

Schmiernippel (19A, 31) einspritzen.

MESSA IN SERVIZIO DELL’ATTREZZO

• Usare, ispezionare e mantenere sempre

quest’attrezzo secondo tutti i regolamenti (locali,

statali, federali e nazionali), che possano essere

applicabili agli attrezzi a mano pneumatici.

• Per sicurezza, massime prestazioni e massima

durabilità delle parti, usare quest’attrezzo ad una

massima pressione d’aria di 90 psig (6,2 bar/

620 kPa) all’ingresso con un flessibile di

alimentazione dell’aria con diametro interno di

3/8” (10 mm).

• Disinserire sempre l’alimentazione aria e staccare

il relativo tubo dall’attrezzo, prima di installare,

togliere o regolare qualsiasi accessorio, oppure

prima di eseguire qualsiasi operazione di

manutenzione dell’attrezzo.

• Non adoperare tubi e raccordi danneggiati,

consunti o deteriorati.

• Assicurarsi che tutti i tubi ed i raccordi siano delle

corrette dimensioni e saldamente serrati.

Consultare il disegno TPD905–1 per una tipica

disposizione dei tubi.

• Usare sempre aria pulita ed asciutta alla pressione

max di 90 psig. Polvere, fumi corrosivi e/o un

eccesso di umidità possono rovinare il motore di un

attrezzo pneumatico.

• Non lubrificare gli utensili con liquidi infiammabili

o volatili come kerosene, gasolio o combustibile per

aviogetti.

• Non togliere nessuna etichetta. Sostituire eventuali

etichette danneggiate.

COME USARE L’ATTREZZO

• Indossare sempre degli occhiali protettivi quando si

adopera questo attrezzo o se ne esegue la

manutenzione.

• Indossare sempre delle cuffie protettive quando si

adopera questo attrezzo.

• Tenere le mani, gli indumenti sciolti ed i capelli

lunghi distanti dall’estremità battente

dell’attrezzo.

• Notare la posizione della leva d’inversione prima

di azionare l’attrezzo in modo da essere consci

della direzione di ruotazione quando si aziona

l’immissione.

• Fare attenzione e cercare di anticipare improvvise

variazioni di movimento durante l’avviamento e

l’uso di qualsiasi utensile pneumatico.

• Nell’usare l’attrezzo, mantenere con il corpo una

posizione salda e ben bilanciata. Non sbilanciarsi

durante l’uso di questo attrezzo. Delle elevate

reazioni di coppia si possono verificare alla

pressione d’aria raccomandata o inferiore.

• L’accessorio dell’utensile potrebbe continuare a

funzionare brevemente dopo che è stata disinserita

l’immissione.

• Gli attrezzi pneumatici possono vibrare durante

l’uso. Le vibrazioni, i movimenti ripetitivi o le

posizioni scomode possono risultare dannosi per le

mani e le braccia. Interrompere l’uso dell’utensile

se si avvertono sintomi di disagio fisico, formicolio

o dolore. Interpellare un medico prima di

riprendere il lavoro.

• Usare accessori raccomandati dalla

Ingersoll–Rand.

• Usare solo boccole ed accessori ad impulso. Non

usare boccole a mano (cromate) o accessori.

• Le chiavi ad impulso non sono chiavi

torsiometriche. Collegamenti che richiedono

specifiche coppie devono essere controllati con un

torsiometro l’installazione con una chiave

torsiometrica.

AVVISO

L’uso di ricambi non originali Ingersoll–Rand potrebbe causare condizioni di pericolosità, compromettere le prestazioni

dell’attrezzo ed aumentare la necessità di manutenzione, inoltre potrebbe invalidare tutte le garanzie.

Le riparazioni devono essere effettuate soltanto da personale autorizzato e qualificato. Rivolgersi al più vicino centro di

REGOLATORE DI POTENZA

Le chiavi ad impulsi modello 211 è munito di un

regolatore che agisce in entrambe le direzioni

simultaneamente ed in pari modo. L’erogazione di potenza

è calibrata dai numeri da 1 a 5 stampigliati.

I modelli di chiavi ad impulsi 2934P2–EU/2940P2–EU

sono muniti con una combinazione di regolatore di

potenza/valvola d’inversione progettata al fine di fornire

regolazione di potenza in avanti, mantenendo, allo stesso

tempo, piena potenza nella direzione inversa.

L’erogazione di potenza è calibrata dai numeri da 1 a 5

stampigliati.

IMPOSTAZIONE DEL REGOLATORE DI

POTENZA

Regolazione di potenza per il modello 211

Ruotare il regolatore di potenza (11) in modo che uno dei

numeri posti sul regolatore sia allineato col segno

indicatore sul bordo del corpo d’ingresso girevole (8).

A questo punto la potenza del 211 è regolata per entrambe

le direzioni. Questa regolazione non verrà modificata,

indipendentemente dal numero diazionamenti della leva di

reversibilità, fino a quando non si cambierà la selezione di

potenza.

Regolazione di potenza per il modello 212

La chiave ad impulsi modello 212 incorpora un regolatore

di potenza nel meccanismo d’inversione che consente

all’operatore di avere o piena erogazione di potenza in una

direzione ed erogazione di potenza ridotta nell’altra

direzione oppure piene erogazione di potenza in entrambe

le direzioni. Per regolare la potenza, procedere nel modo

seguente:

Per piena potenza in entrambe le direzioni, girare la

valvola d’inversione fino a quando l’intacco su ciascuna

estremit della valvola d’inversione sia allineato col

numero 5 su ciascun lato della sede.

AVVISO

I numeri compresi tra 1 e 5

posti sulla sede valgono solo

per riferimento e NON

denotano uno specifico valore

di erogazione di potenza. Uno

(1) indica l’erogazione più

bassa di potenza e cinque (5)

quella più alta.

Per potenza ridotta nella direzione in avanti e piena

potenza nella direzione in inverso, spingere la valvola

d’inversione verso l’interno sulla destra dell’attrezzo e

girare la valvola stessa fino a quando l’intacco sulla destra

sia allineato col numero desiderato sulla destra. Ciò

provvede ridotta potenza in avanti ma piena potenza

all’inverso quando la valvola d’inversione viene spinta

nella direzione opposta. Vedi Disegno TPD1248.

Per potenza ridotta nella direzione in inverso e piena

potenza nella direzione in avanti, spingere la valvola

d’inversione verso l’interno sulla sinistra dell’attrezzo e

girare la valvola stessa fino a quando l’intacco sulla

sinistra sia allineato col numero desiderato sulla sinistra.

Ciò provvede piena potenza in avanti ma potenza ridotta

all’inverso quando la valvola d’inversione viene spinta

nella direzione opposta. Vedi Disegno TPD1249.

MESSA IN SERVIZIO DELL’ATTREZZO

LUBRIFICAZIONE

Con questi attrezzi usare sempre un lubrificatore di linea.

Si raccomanda l’uso del seguente gruppo

filtro–regolatore–lubrificatore:

per gli altri paesi – Nr. C26–C4–A29

per gli USA – Nr. C22–04–G00

Dopo ogni otto ore di funzionamento, a meno che venga

usato un lubrificatore di linea, iniettare 1,5 cc di olio

Ingersoll–Rand Nr. 50 nell’entrata dell’utensile ed

azionare brevemente quest’ultimo.

Dopo quarantotto ore di funzionamento, oppure come

suggerito dall’esperienza aquisita, iniettare circa 3 cc di

grasso Ingersoll–Rand Nr. 100 nell’ingrassatore.

o combustible para motores a reacción.

• No saque ninguna etiqueta. Sustituya toda etiqueta

dañada.

USO DE LA HERRAMIENTA

• Use siempre protección ocular cuando maneje, o

realice operaciones de mantenimiento en esta

herramienta.

• Use siempre protección para los oídos cuando

maneje esta herramienta.

• Mantenga las manos, la ropa suelta y el cabello

largo alejados del extremo giratorio de la

herramienta.

• Note la posición de la palanca de inversión antes de

hacer funcionar la herramienta para ser consciente

de su dirección giratoria cuando funcione el

estrangulador.

• Anticipe y esté alerta sobre los cambios repentinos

en el movimiento durante la puesta en marcha y el

manejo de toda herramienta motorizada.

• Mantenga una postura de cuerpo equilibrada y

firme. No estire demasiado los brazos al manejar la

herramienta. Pueden ocurrir reacciones de alto

par a, o a menos de, la recomendada presión de

aire.

• El eje de la herramienta podría seguir girando

brevemente después de haber soltado la palanca de

estrangulación.

• Las herramientas neumáticas pueden vibrar

durante el uso. La vibración, repetición o

posiciones incómodas pueden dañarle los brazos y

manos. En caso de incomodidad, sensación de

hormigueo o dolor, deje de usar la herramienta.

Consulte a un médico antes de volver a usarla otra

vez.

• Utilice únicamente los accesorios Ingersoll–Rand

recomendados.

• Utilice únicamente bocas y accesorios para llaves

de impacto. No utilice bocas o accessorios

manuales (cromados).

• Las llaves de impacto no son llaves de par. Las

uniones que requieran pares específicos deberán

ser comprobadas con un torsiómetro después de

haberlas fijado con una llave de impacto.

NOTA

El uso de piezas de recambio que no sean las auténticas piezas Ingersoll–Rand podría poner en peligro la seguridad,

reducir el rendimiento de la herramienta y aumentar los cuidados de mantenimiento necesarios, así como invalidar toda

garantía.

Regulador de Potencia

La Llave de Impacto Modelo 211 está equipada con un

regulador que proporciona potencia en ambas direcciones

simultánea e igualmente. La potencia se calibra con los

números estampados “1” al “5”.

Las Llaves de Impacto Modelo 212 están equipadas con

una válvula reguladora/invertidora de potencia combinada

diseñada para ofrecer ajuste de potencia en dirección hacia

delante mientras mantiene potencia completa en la

inversa. La potencia se calibra con los números

estampados “1” al “5”.

COLOCACIÓN DE REGULADOR DE

POTENCIA

Ajuste de potencia para Modelo 211

Gire el Regulador de Potencia (11) hasta que uno de los

números en el Regulador de Potencia se alinee con la

marca indicadora en el borde del Cuerpo Pivote de

Admisión (8).

La potencia de la 211 está ahora ajustada para ambas

direcciones. Este ajuste no cambiará, independientemente

de las veces que se mueva la Palanca de Inversión,

siempre que no se cambie la selección de potencia.

Ajuste de potencia para Modelo 212

La Llave de Impacto Modelo 212 incorpora un Regulador

de Potencia en el mecanismo de inversión que permite al

operario tener potencia completa en una dirección y

reducida en la otra dirección, o potencia completa en

ambas direcciones. Para ajuste de potencia, proceda como

sigue:

Para potencia completa en ambas direcciones, gire la

Válvula de Inversión (25) hasta que la muesca en cada

extremo de Válvula de Inversión esté alineada con el

número 5 en cada lado de la carcasa.

NOTA

Los números del 1 al 5 que

hay en la carcasa son sólo de

referencia y NO indican una

potencia específica. Uno (1)

indica la potencia menor

mientras que cinco (5) indica

la mayor.

Para potencia reducida en dirección hacia delante y

potencia completa en la inversa, empuje hacia adentro la

válvula de inversión situada en el lateral derecho de la

herramienta y gire la válvula de inversión hasta que la

marca en el lateral derecho esté alineada con el número

deseado en la derecha. Esto ofrece potencia reducida en

dirección hacia delante y completa en la inversa cuando la

válvula de inversión sea empujada hacia el lado opuesto.

Para potencia reducida en dirección inversa y potencia

completa en la dirección hacia delante, empuje hacia

adentro la válvula de inversión situada en el lateral

derecho de la herramienta y gire la válvula de inversión

hasta que la marca en el lateral izquierdo esté alineada con

el número deseado en la izquierda. Esto ofrece potencia

completa en dirección hacia delante y potencia reducida

en la inversa cuando la válvula de inversión sea empujada

PARA PONER LA HERRAMIENTA EN SERVICIO

LUBRICACIÓN

Ingersoll–Rand Nº 50 Ingersoll–Rand Nº 100

Utilice siempre un lubricante de aire comprimido con esta

herramienta. Recomendamos la siguiente unidad de

Filtro–Lubricador–Regulador:

Internacional – Nº. C26–C4–A29

Para EE.UU. – Nº. C22–04–G00

Después de cada ocho horas de operación, a menos que

se use un lubricador de línea de aire comprimido, inyecte

1,5 cc de Aceite Ingersoll–Rand Nº 50 en la admisión de

herramienta y haga funcionar la herramienta, brevemente.

Después de cada cuarenta y ocho horas de

funcionamiento, o según indique la experiencia, inyecte

unos 3 cc de Grasa Ingersoll–Rand Nº 100 en el

Engrasador (19A, 31).
