Safety
• The speaker dock should not be taken apart or modified. Certain exposed parts
inside the casing carry dangerous current. Contact with these can lead to fire or
electric shock.
• Do not cover the speaker dock. Adequate ventilation with a distance of at least
5 cm between ventilation ports and the surrounding area is necessary to prevent
the device from overheating.
• The speaker dock must only be connected to a standard domestic 220–240V,
50/60 Hz electrical supply.
• Make sure that the wall socket that is used is easily accessible, since this is
the only way to completely disconnect it from the electrical system.
• Place the speaker dock on a stable, flat surface.
• Do not place the speaker dock where there is a risk of it falling into water or other
liquid. Do not place any objects which contain liquid onto the speaker dock, such
as vases, drinks, etc.
• Do not place the speaker dock near open flames such as wood stoves, lit candles, etc.
• Position the speaker dock where there is no risk of people tripping over
the mains lead.
• The speaker dock is only intended for indoor use.
• Never subject the speaker dock to high temperatures, dust, heavy vibration,
impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Do not abuse the mains lead. Never unplug the product by pulling on its mains
lead. Always grip the plug itself. Make sure that the mains lead does not come into
contact with heat, sharp edges or is crushed in any way.
• Unplug the mains lead during thunderstorms or if the speaker dock is not to be
used for a long time.
• The speaker dock’s standby switch does not disconnect the product completely
from the mains. To completely isolate the device from the electricity network
the speaker dock’s mains lead must be unplugged from the power point.
• Protect your hearing. Listening to the speaker dock on high volume for prolonged
periods can lead to permanent hearing loss.
• Never use the speaker dock or its mains lead if it has been damaged in any way.
• The speaker dock should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
