Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung vor der ersten Verwendung sorgfältig durch!

Nach Erkenntnissen der modernen Arbeitsmedizin sind Menschen in Pflegeberufen arbeitsbedingt stark körperlich

belastet. Oft kommt es zu Rückenschäden. Es gibt viele Situationen, in denen ein Pflegebedürftiger von einem Bett,

einer Transportliege, einer Ambulanzliege, einem Röntgentisch oder einem Rollstuhl auf eine andere Liege- oder

Sitzfläche umgelagert werden muss. Durch den Einsatz von Gleittüchern, kann die Belastung des Anwenders und

des Patienten/Pflegebedürftigen entscheidend reduziert werden.

Der Einsatz der Umlagerungshilfen sollte unter der Voraussetzung erfolgen, dass der Anwender den Umgang mit

ihnen erlernt hat. Der Anwender muss selbstständig entscheiden, welches Hilfsmittel der Situation des

Pflegebedürftigen und dem beabsichtigten Bewegungsablauf gerecht wird.

Die Gleittücher werden aus einem besonders gleit- und strapazierfähigen Polyamid produziert, welches ein

einfaches Bewegen ermöglicht. Die Gleittücher werden schlauchförmig hergestellt.

Die Gleittücher sind Teil eines Produktprogramms, welches speziell zur Unterstützung beim Umlagern bzw. Transfer

von Pflegebedürftigen in der häuslichen Pflege und anderen medizinischen Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens,

sowie in Krankenhäusern genutzt wird.

Das Produkt darf nur zu angegebenen Zweck und Bedingungen genutzt werden.

Die Gleittücher sind sichere Umlagerungshilfen, die für den Pflegebedürftigen angenehme und komfortable sowie

für die Anwender rückenschonende und einfache Umlagerungen ermöglicht.

Die Hinweise in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beziehen sich auf die pflegebedürftige Person, die umgelagert und

bewegt wird sowie auf den Anwender, der den Transfer / die Umlagerung vornimmt.

Wird das Produkt gemäß den Sicherheitsvorschriften verwendet, beträgt die zu erwartende Produktlebensdauer bei

durchschnittlichen Waschzyklen drei Jahre. Die effektive Lebensdauer kann jedoch, abhängig von der Häufigkeit

und Intensität des Gebrauchs, der Anzahl der Wasch- und Desinfektionsvorgänge, variieren.

Führen Sie regelmäßig eine Funktionskontrolle mit dem Produkt durch und beachten Sie unbedingt die

Sicherheitshinweise (siehe Punkt 2).

WARNUNG kennzeichnet eine mögliche Gefährdung, die zu Personen- oder Sachschäden

führen könnte.

➢ Es liegt in der Verantwortung der Einrichtung / des Anwenders anhand der Gegebenheiten (Gewicht

/ Gesundheitszustand des Patienten) und des Leistungsvermögens des Anwenders, zu beurteilen, ob

ggf. mehrere Anwender für den Transfer notwendig sind oder zusätzliche Sicherungsmaßnahmen

getroffen werden müssen.

➢ Defekte Produkte dürfen nicht mehr verwendet werden.

➢ Die glatte Oberfläche minimiert den Reibungswiderstand während des Positionswechsels erheblich.

Überprüfen Sie sorgfältig die Transferebenen auf bremssichere Standfestigkeit (z. B. Rollstuhl, Bett).

➢ Achten Sie darauf, dass die Transfers rückengerecht von den Anwenders ausgeführt werden.

➢ Gewichtsbegrenzungen sind einzuhalten (150 kg).

➢ Nach dem Transfer / Positionswechsel die Gleitmatte unter dem Patienten entfernen. Bitte fragen Sie

ggf. nach Produkten, die auch im Bereich "Positionsunterstützung" verwendet werden können.

➢ Umlagerungsprodukte unterliegen einem natürlichen Alterungsprozess. Überprüfen Sie die Hilfsmittel

regelmäßig auf ihre Funktionstauglichkeit.

➢ Bei Verwendung von nicht handelsüblichen Waschmitteln bzw. Bleichmitteln, Alkohol, Weichspüler

oder anderen chemischen Waschzusätzen können sich die Funktionseigenschaften des Gleittuches

nachhaltig verschlechtern.

3 Produktanwendung

3.1 Indikation und Wiedereinsatz

Die Indikationen können aufgrund der großen Einsatzmöglichkeiten an keinem bestimmten Krankheitsbild

festgemacht werden, da die Gleittücher für alle Anwendungen an Menschen mit Unterstützungsbedarf geeignet

sind. Durch den reduzierten Reibungswiderstand können bei Anwendung der Gleittücher die Ressourcen der

Pflegebedürftigen genutzt werden. Für die Anwender verringert sich der Kraftaufwand.

Das Produkt ist für den Wiedereinsatz geeignet.

Führen Sie vor dem Wiedereinsatz unbedingt eine gründliche Funktionskontrolle (siehe Punkt 2.2) sowie eine

Reinigung bzw. Desinfektion des Produktes durch. (siehe Punkt 5)

3.2 Kontraindikation

Kontraindikationen können an keinem bestimmten Krankheitsbild festgemacht werden. Beachten Sie die

Sicherheitshinweise unter Punkt 2.

Ist bei ängstlichen, schmerzempfindlichen, wahrnehmungsgestörten oder desorientierten Pflegebedürftigen,

aufgrund zu schneller Transferbewegungen, der Musekeltonus erhöht, müssen Alternativen erarbeitet werden. Bitte

sprechen Sie in diesem Fall mit unseren Spezialisten.

3.3 Anwendungsrisiken

➢ Bewegungen werden zu schnell ausgeführt → Sturzgefahr

➢ Ruckartige Bewegungen → Tonuserhöhung ist möglich

3.4 Einsatzbereiche

Das Produkt kann in Krankenhäusern und anderen medizinischen Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens sowie

in der häuslichen Pflege eingesetzt werden.

Die Gleittücher BM-0560, -0652 und -0752 sind aufgrund ihrer wasserabweisenden Materialeigenschaften für

den Einsatz im Nassbereich oder in Kombination mit dem Rutschbrett geeignet.

Die Gleittücher in der Soft-Variante sind für den Transfer im Bett geeignet. (ab Artikel-Nr. BM-S-0790)

3.5 Illustration der Anwendung

3.6 Anwendung

Gleittücher erleichtern das Bewegen von Patienten enorm, da sie den Reibungswiderstand auf ein Minimum

reduzieren.

Gleittücher gibt es in verschiedenen Größen und Ausführungen, je nach Funktionsbild des Patienten und

gewünschtem Positionswechsel kann hier die richtige Größe ermittelt werden. Es handelt sich um Tunnelgleittücher,

bei denen die angegebene Länge jeweils die geschlossene Seite ist, aufgrund Gleiteigenschaften des Materials

können sie jedoch in alle Richtungen genutzt werden.

Die Gleittücher ermöglichen nicht nur das Bewegen des Patienten im Bett, sondern können im Liegen und Sitzen

für viele Positionswechsel und Transfers eingesetzt werden. Sie unterstützen die Bewegungsübergänge und sind

nicht zum Verbleib unter dem Pflegebedürftigen gedacht. Hierbei kann das Gleittuch gut mit dem Rutschbrett, der

Drehscheibe, der Aufrichthilfe oder dem Haltegürtel kombiniert werden. Nach der Anwendung können die

Gleittücher am Etikett aufgehängt werden.

3.6.1 Einlegen des Gleittuches Variante A

➢ Das Gleittuch wird quer unter das Becken des Pflegebedürftigen geschoben.

3.6.2 Einlegen des Gleittuches Variante B

➢ Pflegebedürftigen in Halbseitenlage bringen.

➢ Gleittuch an der offenen Seite 1/3 nach unten einschlagen.

➢ Gleitmatte am Rücken des Pflegebedürftigen anlegen, die Position kann entsprechend variieren.

➢ Pflegebedürftigen in Rückenlage bringen.

➢ Eingeschlagenes Drittel seitlich unter dem Pflegebedürftigen durchziehen.

➢ Der Pflegebedürftige sollte mittig auf dem Gleittuch liegen.

3.6.3 Bewegen zum Kopfende

Voraussetzung: Die Füße können aufgestellt werden. Hier wird der Einsatz einer Antirutschmatte empfohlen!

➢ Füße des Pflegebedürftigen aufstellen.

➢ Pflegebedürftiger kann sich durch abdrücken der Beine selbständig oder mit Hilfe des Anwenders

nach oben bewegen.

Ist das Aufstellen der Füße nicht möglich, ist ein weiteres Gleittuch erforderlich.

3.6.4 Bewegen zur Seite

Voraussetzungen: keine

Durch die Flexibilität der Gleittücher sind seitliche Zug- und Schiebebewegungen sowie Seitenlagerungen

möglich.

3.6.5 Herausnehmen

Nach erfolgter Positionierung kann das Gleittuch entfernt werden, ohne den Pflegebedürftigen zu bewegen.

➢ Pflegebedürftigen mit einer Hand stützen.

➢ Mit der anderen Hand kann das Gleittuch unter dem Pflegebedürftigen hervorgezogen werden.

1 General Information

Thank you for choosing a Petermann product.

Please read the user manual carefully before using the product for the first time!

The current understanding in modern occupational health and safety is that people in nursing professions

experience significant work-related physical strain. Back injuries are common. There are many situations in which a

patient has to be transferred from a bed, a wheeled stretcher, ambulance stretcher, an X-Ray table or a wheelchair

to a different stretcher or seat. The strain on the user and the patient / care-dependent can be reduced significantly

through the use of slides.

The use of transfer aids should be conditional upon the user having learned to use the equipment properly. The

user has to decide for themselves what equipment is suitable to the patient's situation and the intended sequence

of movements.

Slides are made from a particularly low-friction and hard-wearing polyamide, allowing for easy movement. The

Slides are produced as tubes.

The Slides are part of a product line which is used specifically to aid in the transfer of patients in home care and

other health care facilities, as well as in hospitals.

The product may only be used for the specified purpose and under the specified conditions.

The Slides are a safe transfer aid, which allows for a transfer which is pleasant and comfortable for the patient as

well as being simple and back-friendly for the users.

The information in this user manual is for the patient who is being transferred and moved, as well as the user

performing the transfer / position change.

with average wash cycles. However, the effective service life may vary depending on the frequency and intensity of

use and the number of washing and disinfection cycles.

2 Safety information

➢ It is the responsibility of the organisation / the user to determine, on the basis of the circumstances

(weight / health condition of the patient) and the capabilities of the user, whether several users may

be required for the transfer and/or whether additional safety measures are required.

➢ Defective products may no longer be used.

➢ The smooth surfaces significantly reduce resistance due to friction during repositioning. Check the

transfer surfaces carefully to ensure they are fixed in place securely (e.g. wheelchair, bed).

➢ After the transfer / repositioning, remove the sliding mat from under the patient. If applicable, ask

➢ Transfer products are subject to a natural ageing process. Inspect the equipment regularly to ensure

proper functionality.

➢ The use of non-standard cleaning agents or bleaching agents, alcohols, fabric softeners or other

chemical laundry additives may lead to permanent deterioration of the sliding properties.

3 Using the product

3.1 Indication and further use

Due to the wide range of possible applications, the indications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture, since

Slides are suitable for all applications involving people who require assistance. Thanks to the reduced friction, the

capabilities of the patient can be put to use when Slides are used. The effort required on the part of the user is

reduced.

This product may be reused.

Before reusing the product, be sure to perform a thorough function check (see item 2.2) as well as cleaning or

disinfection of the product. (see item 5)

3.2 Contraindications

Contraindications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture. Observe the safety information under item 2.

If the muscle tone is elevated due to transfer movements being performed too quickly in patients who are anxious,

are pain-sensitive, have a perceptual disability or are disoriented, then alternatives have to be developed. Please

contact our experts if this is the case.

3.3 Application risks

➢ Movements are performed too quickly → risk of falling

➢ Jerky movements → risk of elevated tone

3.4 Areas of application

The product can be used in home care and other health care facilities as well as hospitals.

On account of their water-repellent material properties, the Slides BM-0560, -0652 and -0752 are suitable for

use in wet areas or in combination with the sliding board.

The soft versions of the Slides are suitable for in-bed transfers. (Item no. BM-S-0790 and up)

3.6 Application

Slides make it a lot easier to move patients, since they reduce friction to a minimum.

Slides are available in various sizes and versions, the correct size is determined on the basis of the patient's functional

capacities and the desired change in position. They are tubular Slides in which the specified length is the respective

length of the closed side. Thanks to their sliding properties, they can be used in any direction.

The Slides not only allow the patient to be moved within the bed, they can also be used for many position changes

and transfers while recumbent or sitting. They support the movement transitions and are not intended to remain

underneath the patient. The Slide can be combined effectively with the Sliding Board, the Turning Disc, a Raising

Aid or the Support Belt. After use, the slides can be hung up by the label.

3.6.1 Placing the Slide, option A

➢ The Slide is pushed crosswise under the patient's pelvis.

3.6.2 Placing the Slide, option B

➢ Place the patient on their side.

➢ Fold 1/3 of the Slide underneath on the open side.

➢ Place the Slide against the patient's back, the position may vary correspondingly.

➢ Place the patient on their back.

➢ Pull the folded under third through sideways underneath the patient.

➢ The patient should be positioned in the centre of the Slide.

3.6.3 Moving toward the head

Prerequisites: The legs can be flexed. Use of an Anti-Slip Mat is recommended in this case!

➢ Flex the patient's legs.

➢ The patient can move up by extending the legs, on their own or with the user's assistance.

If the legs cannot be flexed, then an additional sliding mat is required (e.g. PM-2010).

3.6.4 Moving to the side

Prerequisites: none

The flexibility of the Slide allows for sideways pulling, pushing and lateral positioning.

3.6.5 Removal

After positioning has been completed, the sheet can be removed without moving the patient.

➢ Support the patient with one hand

➢ The sheet can be pulled out from underneath the patient with the other hand.

Parliament and Council dated 05.04.2017 for medical devices, also called MDR.

belastning. Ryggskador är vanliga. Det finns många situationer där en brukare måste flyttas över från en säng, en

bår med hjul, en ambulansbår, ett röntgenbord eller en rullstol till en annan bår eller stol. Belastningen på

användaren och brukaren kan minskas avsevärt genom att glidtyger används.
